Why we did NOT like MILAN! & History & Travel Experiences - ITALY Diaries
Our trip to Milan was worse than anything I've ever experienced on my travels. Watch this, if you want to go there & be prepared to maybe get disappointed as well.
This is our personal perspective but this is for us how we experienced it in comparison to other popular cities in Northern Italy we've visited.
Milan's History is astonishing and the city looks gorgeous but there is not only not that much to do (except for MAYBE SHOPPING) but also we just did not feel a comfortable vibe.
Listen in this 4th and last part of my Italy Diaries Series
to what we have encountered from the Arrival with the airplane
to the transfers with the train to/from Milan
and what we had to deal with in our hotel

Another curiosity: all around Torino there are some of the most beautiful royal residences of Italy, that was built by the royal family of the Savoia: the so called "Corona di Delizie", with the Reggia di Venaria Reale at the first place. I don't want to be rude, but girl... All the things you complained about your trip from Florence to your hotel in Milan areyour fault 😅 First of all, when you book a place, you always check where it is and how to get there, especially when you are supposed to arrive late during the night and if it's next to a highway in the suburbs LMAO. And the fact that you were tipsy and tired from the yoga class its nobody's fault. Not to mention the fact that you complain about how big and disorienting is the main station of one of the biggest cities in Europe😂 And how can you not check from which terminal your plane leaves ahaha So yeah, I do not expect everyone to like the same cities, but these were not valid reasons concering the city itself, you just had a bad experience because you were not organized well. I also had a similar experience in Paris when I was younger, but I didn't blame it on the city, but only to the naif young me

Hi there ☺️ thank you so much 🙏🏻 I’m glad you enjoyed watching the series.Geez ... it’s so long ago that I can’t quite remember. But we tried sticking to the low-cost stays and flights, so per person at least 1000€ (apartment, transfers etc.), so probably at least a 1500€ are needed to make a trip for 2 people through 4 cities in northern Italy, but that is very optimistic and I’ve done a lot of research of different sites offers before I decided to book something. Also, that’s excluded the food costs which are always up to the individual to decide how much to spend. 😄 I hope I could help you! Are you planning to visit Italy any time soon? From where are you, if I may ask?
