Following steve's 5 inch quad. He was using frsky r9 868mhz radio gear and Caddx vista, i was using Tbs Crossfire 868mhz with Dji 03 air unit, on board a lightweight 5inch scratch build dead cat frame using a 4s molicell lithium-ion 4200mah pack, the quad is actually 6s but flys ok with this battery and is good for 25min flight time with the battery and two blade props. Comparing both cameras on auto settings in sections not side by side. The 03 has better light handling and a sharper image but the action 2 does do a good job of keeping the horizon locked like a gimbal in Horizon steady mode. footage from two scratch build 4 inch quads.

Very cinamatic. The 01 AU & Vista is blown out of the water by the quality of the 03's. Loved it. Also, I never saw the paddle board in the far reservoir.

03 air unit to be honest, never can manage to get the picture as good with the action 2 more messing, but it is good if you want a gimbal style footage.

@@quadthingcopter5984 I figured as much. What cam was this footage from?
@@blackbirdboy1 the same camera the video feed was from DJI 03, and recording, could of brightened it in the editor, but to tell you the truth the camera feed looked brighter than what you saw with your own eyes and the recording darker. The same camera settings were used on the Motocross video, don't really touch the settings.
