Hey awesome job, how far does the hose reel stick out from the wall does it interfere with you pulling into the garage
1 yr later I am thinking to do the same. How is it holding up? In after thought would you do anything different? Thanks for posting.
Nice setup! However, Mr. Pink should foam way more than what you're vid showed. Maybe look for a smaller orifice for the gun.
Yeah, since then I have replaced the orifice and it is better!
Nice work! Do you leave the original faucet valve open or closed during non winter seasons? Thanks
I leave it open.
Please, buy a wrench
Will do
Can you bury PVC in the ground with no issues or do you have to do anything special if you do? Nice video, really appreciate it. Got to see if I can figure out the stuff you used in the video now that I am on my computer and not my phone.
Sorry no idea. I have never attempted to bury it.
You can bury it, but if it is not next to the foundation, you may want to wrap it with a metal wire so you can locate it with a metal detector if you ever want to dug in that area. Or, at the very least, draw a VERY detailed map. You also may want to check your frost line. If it is buried deep enough, it may save you from it cracking when it freezes.
He painted the side of his house, oh man
That PVC pipe outside, unless you install a drain to drain the standing water in the pipe, better live in the tropics, because it will freeze and will bust up your pipe during winter time
Thanks. Winter just passed and the pipe was just fine in snow/ice. I disconnect it which drains most of the water. The little water in there evaporates, or has room to expand. You can also blow a little from the pressure washer end and that pushes all water out.
fish still alive after 8months? just to confirm! :)
Alive and growing big! I just have one beta in there.
Hi Bud. I am thinking of using this exact technique in a tank. I would like to know how the water epoxy interface looks. Is it seamless? Or is it obvious there is epoxy over the stones? Thanks.
what size threaded pvc fittings you use ? and how many exactly ?
Do you have the sizes for the hose fittings at all?
Sorry hose fittings came in box. They seem 3/2 or 1/2 inch
I'm a bit late to the game in seeing this video, but just wanted to say stunning! Love your setup and looking into the products you shared; thank you!
Great video. Thank you!
Thanks!
You've done a great job. My project before the summer. Will take some off your designs into mine. Thanks for making this vid.
Been using it for the last few years. No issues so far!
Nice work and good video. I will do the same!
Thanks!
low GPM
Thanks for this video. What size screw did you use to mount the plywood onto the stud at 2:32? UPDATE: This video was invaluable in creating my own setup in my garage. I made a video with it on my channel, so thank you for this.
Don’t remember the exact size but plywood is 1/2 inch, plus drywall is about 1/2 inch and you would want to go into stud for 1.5 inch at least so about 2.5-3 inch will do.
@@LifeHacksExtreme Great, thanks for the feedback. This video was extremely helpful! I used 3/4" plywood with structural screws that were 2.5" long and this thing is solid as a rock.
@@LifeHacksExtreme Just wanted to let you know I made a video on my setup as well. Thanks for your help!
where are those cabinets from???
Made them with 1/2 inch plywood and pocket holes screws. Sorry didn’t film that.
love it!! I figured this out myself years ago (painfully) I wish I had you to guide me... I recently took it to the next level with a retractable hose real... very difficult to find the right hose real that could handle the pressure, but, I will share it here: REELCRAFT PW7600 OHP, I used the Karcher 50ft hose that is 5/16" (Model:9.558-124.0) because it is narrower, has higher velocity and is more flexible than other hoses (my personal preference). I also used a different wand, MTM foam canon, and a CAT-1800.... This is an Excellent Video!!!
Thanks for the tips! A retractable one would definitely be useful!
@@LifeHacksExtreme other one i have in another garage space is the Coxreels TMPL-N-375... I think these are all made by the same supplier but just come in different colors based on the "Manufacturer". The Coxreel's one is 1/3rd the price of the REELCRAFT one... and it is almost identical.
Excellent job! Definitely gonna save this video for spring time and set this up!
What drill bit did you use for the 1/2 pvc through the concrete wall
The concrete/spade bit from the big box store. It was a layer of brick then plywood then drywall. So there was no concrete but I think the same drill bit will work for concrete too.
very neat installation and the price is quite good.
Thanks!!
Does the pump require oil change?
I don’t think so.
"In this video I talk about how to install your own..." Bruv I didn't hear you say a word in this video! 😄 But, goes to show you don't need to talk ppl's ears off in order to make a good one!
lol cheers!
What size/type of pvc pipe are you using?
3/4 inch
@@LifeHacksExtreme it looks like you are stepping down from 3/4 to 1/2 right after the flexible hose. am I missing something?
@@chincaI zoomed in on the pipe at 2:20 and it clearly says 1/2
great edition
Thanks!
Great video and setup. Did you have to run water and electrical to that location in your garage?
Yeah I showed how I ran the water from the outside spigot. Electrical was already there. Thanks for watching!
Really nice job!!
Thanks for watching!
Anyone knows whats the max gpm you can get from this pressure washer? And wich nozzlle to use to get that number? Im looking for something around 1.6 gpm, i really like this pressure washer and im just wondering if i can reach that number with the right nozzle. Tks
So after a year has the floor started to buckle or pinch at all due to the weight of the bar?
Not at all! It’s the same as the day it was built!
great to hear....thanks for the reply. Great looking bar by the way! @@LifeHacksExtreme
Anyone know how to convert a Karcher K2 system to utilising a hydraulic hose reel?
Can't see what the first thing was, too far from camera and name was covered
The Y connector that is connected to faucet? You mean this? a.co/d/5StbDcP
So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
Thanks!
What is the wattage of this machine please?
Seems like the motor is 13 amp so 13x110v = 1430W?
Love everything but the foam cannon. Good job!
I have since changed the orifice and it’s a lot better. Thanks for watching
What were the dimensions of that white board you used as the background?
36x16 inches
Painting is not your strong suit.
Lol no, but it was just for a backing board. For inside jobs I follow a different approach! Thanks for watching.
The brass / silver hose connected to your faucet, I plan to connect it to the splitter on my washer in the garage. Is the metal hose with brass connector included with the pressure washer? I think the splitter is 3/4" and i would have buy another long garden hose to reach the pressure mounted near the exit. Does the washer take 3/4' garden hose?
Yeah the pressure washer takes 3/4 garden hose. All the connectors inside the garage were included in the hose reel or the new pressure washer gun. The connectors outside the garage by the facet were purchased extra.
😂 washing in full sun
Thanks for watching!
Great project, need to upgrade that foam canon though!! I have the same hose and reel and it kept catching on the back, all due to me not cutting the red sleeve, great call.
Definitely, should be an easy fix to still do it.
Just checking to see how this setup is working so far because I'm really liking it.
Been working great for the last 2 months. Washing car every week and driveway once.
@@LifeHacksExtreme Been debating between this setup or the Giraffe all in one setup but I like your setup better and I'm sure that worx will outlast the giraffe so thanks. Cheer's!!
quick connect fitting for the blue hose to the pressure washer?
I used the fitting that came with the pressure washer gun + hose reel. Didn’t have to buy any other fitting other than what came with those two.
How many inches does it protrude from the wall?
Pressure washer part is 12 inches. The hose reel part is 14 inches from the wall.
오 깔끔하네요 ㅋㅋ
Thank you.
That's a nice 👍
Thank you.
Looks so good
Thank you.
Are the chemicals in epoxy safe for fish?
After the curing time has passed, epoxy is inert plastic so is safe for fish.
That’s a nice looking yard!
Thank you!
That looks like foam from a $290 overall setup. Lol
Thank you for watching. I am looking to upgrade the foam cannon for better foam action.
The orifice upgrade as previously mentioned will help. Also get your soap to water ratio dialed in and adjust for a wider fan from the spout. The pressure washer itself isn’t the greatest tbh. Neither is mine but it’s a bit stronger. Greenworks electric 2100 psi and 2gpm. More water flow and pressure helps with the foam.
lol one of the dumbest comments of the day
Love the organization brotha
