Everyone on here is now kinda weak compared to modern Dragon Ball. Like everyone got stronger than the previous foe, Piccolo kept getting massive buffs to his power throughout the show and to no avail, he still kept losing His "fight" with Frost sucks really bad, tho, I feel like he should've won or atleast put up a fight

@Big_johnson2347 yeah. I meant Goku winning before he got shot by the laser. He was holding back and still beat golden Frieza. Vegeta won his fight too but Frieza was already exhausted from his fight with Goku.

In a matter of fact Goku didn't defeat Cell, he didn't defeat Buu by himself and he needed rage fuel to turn into SSJ and defeat Frieza. Same goes for Vegeta and Raditz. He couldn't defeat Vegeta first time by himself nor did he Raditz even having to sacrifice his life so Piccolo could kill them both.

I remember wayy back when kai was being advertised for dvd and these "new" redrawn scenes were used as a selling point

These are actually redrawn frames kai had these to edit the episodes around and cut filler so they redrew alot of these
For example the first scene with piccolo is drawn digitally trying to replicate the old hand drawn frames of dbz

OG is better, but I'm glad Kai showed DBZ to a new generation on TV. I'm thankful for it for that alone. But yeah, the original "filler" filled out the storyline and the world in a good way. DBZ is the king of over-the-top and I don't want it stripped back at all, lol
Dude stop hating on kai . They had to do re draw due to damage cel animations . Yes they are not good . But Kai did its job to bring new Dragon ball fans .
