Hi, I'm a young producer with my friend and I produce hardstyle and I need help, can you please listen to my songs and can you give me feedback what I'm doing wrong? I need that and one more thing, i have a problem with drop because i can't seem to hear the kicks in the drop because the melody is too loud and when i turn down the melody volume and turn up the kick volume the kicks are too loud and you can't hear the melody but i know sidechain and i use it i have kickstart but for example i haven't heard kickstart and sidechain used by professionals like da tweekaz i haven't noticed it but i can hear the kicks fine and the melody too, so what am I doing wrong? and also I do it in headphones and I can hear it fine in headphones but it gives me this problem when I play it out on the speaker so I have this problem with it that I can't hear the kicks or the melody out on the speaker can you please advise me? here is our channel: www.youtube.com/@DnD_Dropmasters

With hardstyle, I find it’s better to use ear vs music theory, as usually the “instruments” your working with, are detuned, so your C on one may be an A on another depending on detuning of synth voices. All that being said: when you use your ears vs conventional music theory, that does not apply or matter.
