Barbara was happy for him but as she said she felt like she was bride. Now what happens after that outside of her cheating on Him with a friend who also directed episodes Robert Altman. Then Barbara charged Vic with mental cruelty, (whatever that means) and then Dow the road she said Vic threatened her with physical harm. Who knows,I wasn't there. Barbara did not want Vic back. He ever fully recovered from that. Then his oldest daughter was a druggie and ran away. Jennifer his other daughter ( actress) really never knew him ( supposedly never had a relationship with Vic) because Vic was never around and then the divorce. Again, who knows but Jennifer told a friend her dad and sister did drugs together and that's why Jennifer was mad at him. I get that part!!! Unfortunately, she and her dad never reconciled ad that hit her hard. Supposedly also she had dropped out of school when she was almost done and she did a nude scene in a movie (Fast times at Ridgemount High). Vic supposedly again was not happy with that as well. After Combat Vic had a very hard time getting really good work and was given the opportunity inly a couple of times to direct I truly believe Vic was blacklisted!!! Then a lady who Vic was seeing died, then his mother died. It just goes on and in. He really was very hurt after Barbara and never quite found his footing. So, I pray he was a believer and is finally at peace!!!
