Dolidada batteries are a scam
You can buy Dolidada batteries on Aliexpress.com and they are promising 1800 mAh.
Bottom line: Stay away from these if you value your time and money.

How to solder a BNC connector. Properly.

I was frustrated by the videos on RUclips showing different ways of soldering a BNC connector but none explained in detail. Sometimes you even needed special tools to do it. Here you can find BNC connectors and all the tools you need to finish your job: 1. BNC connectors: amzn.to/2BE4TcA 2. Soldering iron: amzn.to/2BFMk7R 3. Soldering tin: amzn.to/2EVoRSe

My kit came preassembled, and it had the red rubber ring sandwiched between the 2 washers. In his video, he has the last washer on the other side of the metal sleeve, not up against the rubber washer. Not sure it really matters, but it is different than the way mine came.

Great video. So sad to see that the website is down. I really wanted to look thru to get a good rechargable battery as the one's i use currently (vapcell chinese manufacturer) exploded in price ($13 for one AA battery). So im intersted in an alternative. The Vapcell are just great because they provide 1.5V constant potential untli they die.

I've found the black 'Pro' batteries terrible; they randomly stop charging after a few months of [very light /infrequent] use, whereas the white variant have years more longevity. I seem to have lot've dodgy Pro batteries, but as you can't prove how genuinely few times they have been re-charged, before their overly premature death, Panasonic are uninterested in any potential issues. Meh.

What charmemethode/charger did you use? Quickcharging and battery's heating up above 55 degrees Celsius will damage any rechargeable cel. And keep in mind there are battery's from Eneloop to use in your home phone device that is usually constant charging in its cradle.

Incorrect! The braid must be squeezed between the nut and the anchor. In your case the second nut is useless, it must be put before the anchor, not after it.

This is definitely NOT the proper way to solder a pin to a conductor. You heat the pin first, preferably on the side opposite the solder hole and then let the heated pin melt the solder and pull it into the hole.

@WhatCell You have forgotten one very important test: *self-discharge rate over time* NiMH batteries usually tend to have higher self-discharge rate, when it's capacity is higher. While the eneloop batteries have generally a low discharge rate, compared to normal NiMH batteries, which makes them so special, i would still assume, that the eneloop Pro with the higher capacity will self-discharge a little faster than the normal eneloops, but not as fast, as normal NiMH batterie. You should really check that out.

  • @saschal1986

Hi, you have to heat up the pin from one side with the soldering iron and push the solder into the hole on the pin from the other side. Thats how you solder a pin on a cable. Because your way you can never be sure how much solder has actually reached the middle wire.

Eneloop Pro offers Higher Capacity + Higher Discharge rate, but less Charging Cycle & Short Shelf Life. It can be used in Camera Flash, High powered RC Toys. Eneloop White offers slightly less Capacity & slightly lower Discharge rate, but more Charging Cycle & Longer Shelf Life. It can be used in Remote Control, Wireless Controller, Wireless Mouse/Keyboard, Low powered LED Torch.

Right....Most people don't use the correct "type of" battery for its intended purpose. High capacity vrs high/low power consumption. Both batteries are great for their intended use when used correctly.

I use Eneloop Pro in my wireless controllers - 2 will last around 5 years for me. People always try to say the white ones are far more cost effective and while I agree, I'm not needing to keep the same set for 20 years.. I'd rather have the extra 25% power with less battery swapping.
