This dude Bwipo is trying to act superior when he’s not, he comes across as insecure because he’s constantly trying to act superior to other pro players who know everything he knows and are around the same level as he is. calling out insecurity doesn’t make me insecure 🤣🤣🤣. @@bayazwow if I play a counter to bwipo I'm getting smashed regardless of what I'm playing because 1. I'm shit at playing that champ 2. Bwipo has played that matchup waaaay to many times. Conclusion don't play a comp just because it's a counter play your team comp.

@cloudsidky Its quite ironic you say that because its the exact opposite. NA is more about saying mild things in a friendly way than being right in a direct, blunt way. If you wanna be liked all you do is say ,,yeah, they are good players, we respect them, we will try our best, thanks for supporting us" But lets focus on the example at hand, if you think it is about being right or wrong, then bwipo is 100% right and people are still upset. Same with inspired, many times. Stop pretending you care about people being right when in reality you care about being nice.

@ the whole point is multiple ppl have come out and said bwipo is wrong. Repeared, palafox, loyota, etc. I'm not saying we don't have softies, but I think those are a small yet loud minority. I'm more interested in the actual game theory tbh

As far as I know they split the result this past Year going 1-1, so Idk where this ''domination'' is coming from even if you include non playoffs games FlyQ dominated Spring finishing First and beating TL in the 2nd round. To lose in finals Yes but litterally going the same route TL did in spring and beating them 3-1 in Finals of summer. And Eliminate them from Worlds later on. If anything FLY is edging out in terms of wins

Well they finished highly both splits and so idk about them getting owned. Also they did play TL at worlds and hle so... But either way I think he can get his points across if he wants to in a less abrasive way for sure

What makes everyone assume that sr have no practiced this comp and found success with it in scrims vs other teams?

@@cloudsidkyif they had the necessary practice they would’ve done much better against the flyquest comp. As they both agreed, they were countering flyquests comp, but still got heavily outplayed. If SR had any notable achievements then it would be rude, but they aren’t dominating the west like TL, cloud nine or Flyquest

I mean, they’re wrong and they’re refusing to admit it. Why is that his fault? They didn’t ban a strategy that they knew full well was coming, because they had a counter pick strategy. They then were either insufficiently prepared and practiced to actually execute that counter strategy, or they’re simply not good enough to actually execute it at all with any amount of preparation. Bwipo is a professional here and he’s clearly stating that in his professional opinion, his opponents just are not good enough to play that strategy. Why is speaking facts considered insulting? The results on the day clearly speak for themselves.

Picking the “right” champs depends on what you’re good at. Bwipos point wasn’t that their draft was wrong. Theoretically SR’s draft was amazing. His point was that SR ONLY chose those champs due to them being statistical counters to their comp. He’s arguing that SR don’t fully understand the champs to utilize those counters, and a normal pick that they play more often would’ve been better

@@cristianlambert645 The champs that SR chose where not the normal champs they play. It is objective to saw they didn’t have the same experience on those champs as they would with others in their champ pool. You can look at previous games for those players, they normally play other comps. On top of this, Flyquest played against the same comps in worlds. If they are beating teams in worlds who play this comp (and have insane experience on them), then ofc a team who doesn’t main those champs would do worse in comparison. You say “cocky” but they legitimately beat good teams at worlds that had these comps. It’s not really cockiness when you have the walk to back it up

Bwipo’s point here isn’t that fly is that much better, itms that sr is that much worse that counterpicking onto champs you’re unfamiliar with is a bad strategy.

He didn't really say they were just better, but more so that SR doesn't have the enough experience to come out of their comfort zone to play the counter pick. However I feel like this matchup is already Fly favoured and it is actually valid to test out what could work if you feel like it will be a losing game regardless

I do agree that hes being way too cocky, but this also has the additional context of yesterday's post-game interview where his initial comment was "why did you let those pick go through banphase", which i think is still the main point of contention. And tbh, hes right about that.

You totally misunderstood bwipos point. He wasn’t calling their comp bad, and on paper it was perfect against Fly. He was saying they didn’t have the necessary experience with these champs and matchups. Palafox literally admits in this clip that he hasn’t played that many games against Cass, and that inexperience was exactly what Bwipo was mentioning. He was saying they should’ve gone for less “counter-pick” champs that they play more often
