Hi thanks for your video it really helps allot to see the towns when you live far away from the area. Is that the only bridge connecting that town of Monongahela and does it get flooded very often and every year like that?

I hadn’t thought about Pechins in decades. My parents used to go there in the 80’s a few times a year. We used to stop there and get the .19 hamburgers when we went to fish Dunbar creek.

This place looks awesome, I live about twenty minutes from Belle Vernon in Scenery Hill.I know Monongahela pretty good where you live my wife goes to her sugar doctor down by the eatn park. That pizza looks amazing, and your right air fryer is the best way to reheat,. I think we're going to try it out next weekend so we can take some pizza home. Enjoy your videos. My wife grew up in the mon valley area, We made a trip to uniontown one day and we ended up at pechins, the origional one by the Fayette fairgrounds,it was like going back in time, they had their own little village stores. Had so much fun 🎉

Nice video. I have been through the Yough Lake area many times en route to my family' place at Deep Creek. My uncle's family camped at Confluence back in the 60's and 70's. The area from Uniontown to Deep Creek is some of my most favorite spots to see. On your E-Bike comment, we have two. We rented a Rad Power when on vacation at OBX a few years ago. I initially bought a Rad Power for my wife two years ago and then I got an Aventon last year. They are a ton of fun, especially if you were a bike rider when you were younger. The E-Bikes allow you to enjoy the feeling of freedom we had on our bikes without killing us trying to get up hills. You still are pedaling and getting some exercise but not overdoing it. You cn set the amount of assist that you want, ranging from none up to level 4 or 5, depending on the model. The more juice you use, the shorter the battery life between recharges. There are probably places to rent them in Confluence or Ohiopyle - look into that first. I would love to ride on the Allegheny Trail some day. Unfortunately, I am 600 miles away now

Ok, so I’m from North Jersey and my grandmother was originally from Connellsville. We would travel from North Jersey every thanksgiving week to spend with my great uncle, aunts and cousins in Connellsville as well as Uniontown. We LOVED going to the original Pechin’s. I went there in the 80’s and 90’s. It was such a culture shock to me seeing all of the different stores inside of the trailers. My uncle bought me my first Carhartt jacket there. The cafeteria was absolutely amazing. My grandmother loved eating there. The ham salad was her favorite. We do not have that in NJ. All of that family is gone now with the exception of one great Aunt. Thank you for this video. This brings back wonderful memories of SouthWest PA for me!
