I'm a new subscriber and fellow Honda Accord owner and I love my car as well. Regular maintenance and using good higher octane fuel is key to a long and trouble free life with your "baby". By the way, I drive a 2022 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition, with the 1.5t engine and the "Still Night Pearl" paint job,and the leather seats. In a few words it drives so smooth and it gets excellent gas mileage without compromised performance. I highly recommend the 10th gen Accords, especially in their various SPORT trims. They are good cars, in my opinion. Alright, later. 😁✌️
Please use higher octane gas than 87 in your 1.5t. The 2022 Accord manual kinda lightly suggests owners use a higher octane for better performance and gas mileage. Just some friendly advice. Peace to you and continue to enjoy your Accord. I have the same car with 23000 on the odometer and so far I'm having no issues and I'm loving the car. 😁👍
Just started using premium do it, it’s more money but the mileage is also better and it’s good for the turbo in the whip

Im trying to decide between Camry SE and Accord Sport. Just worried about CVT reliability compared to the 8 speed
I’ve had my car for a year and so far it’s running good , never had a problem with it . Ive never had a Camry se so I couldn’t tell you on which one you should get .
The CVT is pretty reliable, it’s the engine that’s a bit iffy. Should be ok if you use premium and don’t add extra boost.
Whats the difference between the 1.5t and 2.0t

The 1.5 use CVT and 2.0 doesn’t use it. But 2.0 is pretty expensive with low miles.
@@vce.john1734Yep dealers have caught on to how sought after they are. They definitely fetch a premium. You can get one with higher miles like 80,000 miles for 25k OTD though and 80k is nothing for a K-series motor.
1.5t and 2.0 always use premium bro ur gonna blow ur head gasket that’s like me putting regular on a hellcat i have a 2.0 since day 1 alway used premium

Be careful tuning and adding more hp to these 1.5’s 😬 also I use premium on my 2.0t deff don’t make it any faster but it does feel smoother 🤣
You right about smooth part , just put premium in it the other days and I don’t here the drone as much anymore .
Yup about the HP on the 1.5 my 1.5 is stock almost at 47k miles if I keep driving it to 28 miles away I would get to mid 50k before selling it. I put premium run nice

The radar detector is a Uniden R3 & the dash cam is a Gcz 4k
My spoiler started leaking
I got my holes covered with doubled sided tape on the inside and outside . I’m gonna take it to a body shop so they can cover the holes up
I put some silicone on the holes from the outside and then put double sided tape on the inside.

I had those same rain guard and they went flying on the highway. Be careful. Now I’m running th OEM rating guards that clip inside the rubber window trim and it’s been 💯 better. Also do not use ever the tape that comes with the box it is a cheap one. Always wait and buy the gorilla tape and add 3m adhesive promoter or else you going to be doing the same installion twice. I’ve learned hard way
Yea I’m gonna get some more gorilla tape for the rain guards there doing good but I worry about it flying off to . The spoiler and roof wing spoiler aren’t coming off though because I already reinstalled those with gorilla tape but the rain guards I’m iffy about but I’m gonna reinstall them with some gorilla tape . Thank you bro for letting me know .

I’ve been looking at his stuff too & I’m not really sure cause I’m tryna make my car loud . I have a muffler & resonator delete so far and I’m gonna buy some more quadtips and have it welded on and I’m gonna add a front down pipe and tune it . This is my project car so I’m kinda just experimenting things myself .
