A new character should be introduced and she should have her own trilogy but while shooting this movie George Lucas went thru a difficult divorce and felt worn out so he scrapped the plans and decided to wrap it up and end the Skywalker saga there by editing in Leia as the sister.

Anakin killed the separatist b/c Palpatine wanted to take over the Republic and the separatist represent a powerful faction that could potentially rebel against the Empire once they relieved they were getting played.

Don't forget that THIS is the original Obi-Wan Kenobi. Sir Alec Guinness was an extremely revered actor and he was the biggest star (along with Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin) in this movie. Ewan McGregor (the guy who played young Obi-Wan) studied Alec Guinness' speech and mannerisms so that he could properly portray a younger version of the original Obi-Wan.

Interesting fact about Lyle (The man who said the 'N' word first onscreen) The actor, Burton Gilliam, was incredibly uncomfortable saying it. It wasn't until Cleavon Little took him aside and had a word with him that he managed to get through it. Basically, Cleavon pointed out that everybody knew it wasn't Burton saying it. It was Lyle saying it, and Lyle's supposed to be a racist moron.

I really hope you watched these first two episodes again after seeing episodes 1, 2 and 3. This entire show relies on the context of the first 3 films. Especially when Obi Wan was telling Leia about how she reminded her of someone. That "im sorry" "me too" hurt :(

I feel like the tittle “return of the Jedi” was talking more about Anakin returning and saving the galaxy fulfilling his destiny as the chosen one. He in the end destroyed the sith, brought peace and balance to the galaxy just like the prophecy said he would ❤

If you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend "JoJo Rabbit". It's a more modern comedy that I think can be in the same category as these types of lasting comedies.

I you rewatch the ending of Revenge Of The Sith when Anakin is being reborn you can hear his heartbeat and when the mask goes on it stops showing that Anakin Skywalker is dead
