Hello! Mr.Shoya , I really like your videos. I am a Chinese high school student and I really like your eating habits. It makes me feel very healthy and light, and I envy your hair volume! Do you know that Chinese students are just as tired as Japanese students and are prone to hair loss? hhh I wish your videos continue to improve and hope that one day I can travel to Japan and meet more foreign friends!
Thank you so much for your comment!! I know the detailed school situation in China, so I can say Chinese students study much harder than Japanese students😉 Please take care of yourself and come to Japan to travel some day!!

Hi Toshiya-san, i really liked this video, the idea was really interesting, i didn't think there would be restaurants in train station platforms where people eat standing and not sitting, but it actually makes so much sense haha, the soba looked good, i would like to try it even though i'm full right now haha also congratulations for reaching 300 subs, your content is totally worth it and you are also a great person, you deserve that and more, thank you so much for sharing, please be safe😊

Hi Toshiya-san! i love cooking videos a lot, this was relaxing and educative, i think your cooking skills are really good, all the food look great, i wish i had the opportunity to eat those traditional japanese meals someday, but there are some ingredients difficult to find here so i think i'll have to wait a little bit😅 please be safe and thank you for sharing!
@@franciscogorgona Thank you for your comment! Now I can cook simple meal, but would like to cook more complicated one when my cooking skill improve a lot😄 Oh, yes, some ingredients should be difficult to find🥲 Hope you have a chance in the future! Will keep posting!

it's the flavor of brown rice much different compared to white rice?
White rice is sweeter and softer👍
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker ooh i see, i eat white rice everyday but i never had brown rice
Somehow, I don't like natto... I guess it's an acquired taste
Yeah, it could be😟
Hi Mr Toshiya, It's quite interesting to see how traditional Japanese breakfast is prepared from scratch. I see most Japanese youngster prefer bread /cereal instead of having traditional Japanese breakfast. Meanwhile. foreigners (like me) are so eager to try traditional Japanese breakfast. It's kind of strange phenomenon🤔. It has been quite a while for me not having traditional Japanese breakfast. I like Natto, except it is a hassle to eat because it will stick to my hand 😩. I remembered eating Natto for the first time, really impressed my Japanese host, though I didn't understand why till today😆.
Thank you for your comment!! Yes, as you understand, Japanese young man prefer bread. One of the reason would be that it's troublesome to prepare traditional breakfast haha I think so too. There are very few foreigners who like natto from the first time they eat it. But I'm happy to know you are friend who like Natto😆
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker Thank you for your reply. Btw, why I become part of Comrade? 😨 I don't support 共産主義 😭.

Hi Toshiya-San! it was interesting to see this video, even though i saw you eating this kind of breakfast many times already i think in this video you showed a more complete process of making it it looks really nutricious, i'd like to try it some day, but it's difficult to find japanese ingredients here where i live, yesterday i ate tempura in a japanese restaurant and it was delicious! i also went to a market where they sell many asian ingredients and i tried to buy natto but they didn't have have it :(, i will keep searching for a place to find it and try it thank you for sharing!!
Thank you for your comment, bro!! Oh, you ate Tempura!! I'm glad to hear that you like it😄 Natto is very popular in Japan and delicious for us. But when you have a chance to buy it, I recommend to buy just a little of it, because you may not like it haha
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker since i started watching your videos i've been searching for natto, i know it has a curious flavor and texture but i think i'd like it, i'm used to different kinds of beans hehe, thank you for responding, your videos makes me want to try new things

Jesus that company is working you too much man. Glad to see you getting to spend time with the family though. I work in agriculture and often wonder what the work culture for that field is like in Japan
Thank you for your comment!! Yeah, it was happy to spend time with family☺ I'm not very familiar with working culture of agricultural business in Japan, but I have heard that it is so tough physically. Need to get up so early and there are lots of physical work as well

Thank you for your comment!! I'm glad to know I can express the deliciousness of the foods☺ Will keep sharing various foods in Japan!
Hi Toshiya-san! Ok I finally got what you meant - buckwheat noodles = soba 😂. I was a little "lost" with what you mean buckwheat noodle in the previous video comment. The one that I usually have in Japanese restaurant is the cold soba dipped in tsuyu. Hot soba looks interesting as well Will try later to see which one is better. Hope your channel will grow bigger.
Thank you for your comment😄 Oh, now I know "buckwheat noodles" is not common word!! Yes, I mean Soba!! Please try when you have a chance Also, thank you for your kind words!!

Good morning Mr Toshiya. Heading to 7-11 for quick breakfast. I like 7-11 strong coffee without sugar with egg sandwich. I seldom go Lawson unless I want to have Oden and corn dog. By the way, the katsu kare you had looks delicious. Familymart is my favorite place for sweets and snacks. I have not try to tortilla, buckwheat noodles with kakiage and the chocolate waffle (😂 finally you buy it and nope I never try it yet). Maybe will try if I had a chance. Ok have to stop my nonsense 😅. Have to travel to another province to meet client. Thank you for introducing new food to us.

Hi Toshiya-San, I can't imagine myself cooking at 10pm after work. So, I'm really impressed with your hard work. I'm too lazy to cook after work 😅 (maybe plenty of street food near my office make me lazy). So, I would usually just eat with my friends after work. Then go home to continue working without need to worry about what to cook later. I wish there is a convenience store in my place like in your video. 5:52 the waffle: Toshiya-san, please buy me - I'm so delicious. Waffle 💔because you chose Dorayaki (just joking 🤣). Some silly question: for grilled chicken, in Japan, chicken is consumed directly from the package without heating?
@@eddie5057-f7n Thank you so much for your comment! Street foods sounds good. I love eating street foods as well, though I have little chance😫 Yeah, that Waffle looks so delicious…haha We usually eat this type of zipped chicken directly from package without heating. But of course we also eat heated chicken as well!
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker That's interesting that you can consume chicken directly from packaging. Maybe I should try when I visit Japan. You can try Thai and Vietnamese street food in Shibuya and Shinjuku in Thai (Vietnamese) restaurant. It tastes good (but not so authentic) compared to Thailand or Vietnam. It is more expensive to eat in Japan than Thailand or Vietnam😆. Maybe you can try and see if you like it.
@@eddie5057-f7n Please try when you come to Japan!! Thanks for your recommendation! My wife loves foods in Thailand or Vietnam, so we will try them when we have a chance☺
helo, I live in Ohio, when you come to America, you visit my house we can cook what you eat today
Oh, really!! thank you so much☺
Hi Toshiya-San! i think today's video is the longest in your channel, it's interesting that you made the video longer this time! now that your wife and son are out for a few days i hope you don't feel lonely, regarding the question you asked about how is the situation here about dividing the food between wife and husband i can't respond because i don't know haha, i'm single 😅 i also noticed that you added subtitles in portuguese, though i don't speak portuguese that was interesting to see! i hope you are not overworking too much, please take care of yourself.
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I made a longer video this time. I'm going to continue this style 2-3 times more at least! Thank you for your response about dividing the food and noted yours haha👍 Portuguese subtitles is automatically translated from English subtitles. So it can be strange translation😅 I'm OK for now but will take care of myself. Thank you!!
i think i found a chocolate lover just like me 🤤
Haha, yes, your thought is completely correct😉
that video made me want to buy sushi hehe
@@franciscogorgona Yeah, please try if you have chance😄
Toshiyaさん、こんにちは。It's interesting to watch your video while taking a break from work (lunch time). Yup it's Monday again! Since I have been following your channel, I noticed that you seems to have sweet tooth. Sorry I'm not trying to bother you but it's just a bit concerning. It's best not to consume too much sugar based food in a day. Once you take too much sugar at once, your blood glucose will spike. In short term, too much sugar intake at once can lead to weight gain, lack of energy/desire to conduct usual routine, and craving for more sugary food. In long term, it will caused in Japanese: 高血糖 (Sorry I don't know the English word😅). Maybe eat a bit of sugary food everyday is better so that your body can break down the sugar efficiently. It's good to see you are able to spend time with your son. He seems to be curious and detailed person but yet cautious about his surrounding (which is a good thing it means he is an observant person 😀). Parents will get more headache if a child is reckless causing injury to himself. By the way sorry for my long comment.
Thank you for your comment and concern!! I didn't eat all the sweets which I showed on the video. Because I’m intolerant to greasy foods recently, I ate a little bit of every sweets like one/two bite of donuts, a quarter of waffle and so on. So I didn't (couldn't😂) eat too much sweets at once. But anyway, I'll be careful! Yeah, my son is careful and observant basically, but recently he become bolder and bolder haha Again, appreciate for your comments. I always welcome☺
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker sorry, sorry i didn't know that, my mistake i should have ask you first. That's a big misunderstanding!! Sorry, sorry. 6:50 when i see the table and subtitle says "sweets & snack time", i was like a bit shock since I know you have strict dietary. I'm too fast in making conclusion 🙈. Now i got it 😂. Really your son getting bolder and bolder? As a father, you don't have to worry about your son next time. He will be brave and courageous when he is older 😁.
@@eddie5057-f7n No problem at all!! Thank you so much for your concern☺️ As for my son, thank you for your advice! We will keep our eyes on him haha

It is always interesting to see the convenience stores of Japan, here in my country is not that common but they are opening new stores that work similar, is bad for me because when i go to take a walk i frequently go to one of those stores near to my house and i buy unhealthy food haha. It's also nice to see they're always waiting for you at home after work, i can see your wife take care of you, that food she made for you for dinner looked really good! i'll keep supporting, please take care of yourself 🤝🏻
Thank you for your comment!! Yeah, there are a lot of temptations in convenience store haha Fortunately, some healthy foods are sold in Japan, so I buy them 😂 My family takes care of me and my wife's cooking dinner is so good! Will keep posting😄
Good evening, Toshiya-san. Sorry to hear that you are having slightly cold and stomatitis. Hope you will get well soon. Convenience store in Japan is always plenty of choice, and quite affordable. Sometimes I'm confuse with what to buy while in Japan. In Thailand, there is variety of selection as well, but I prefer to eat at street food due to cheaper and more choice. The only reason for me to visit 7-11 is to pay bills 🤣
Thank you so much!! Now I'm getting better, though I still have a little cough😮💨 I really want to eat street food in Thailand. Actually, I had a plan to travel to Thailand before but couldn't go due to business trip... Will visit someday!!
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker Good to hear that you're getting better. I can show you around when you come to Thailand 😀.
@@eddie5057-f7n that's reassuring! Thank you☺️

I love your videos! I watch them while I crochet! You should do a video exploring japan on ur day off, maybe take a vacation day!! Would love to see that :)
Thank you for your kind words☺ I'll take a vacation in Oct and go to travel. So I'll take video at that time and share with you!
Whoa, Toshiya-San, I don't know if you seen this when you montage, but when you eat your eyes are talking the most - I can literally tell what you want to say (yeah, it's good, I approve). Thanks for sharing this video with us, I hope this channel grows.
Thank you! I'm glad to know my feeling was conveyed to you through my eyes☺ Also, thank you so much for your wishing. Will keep posted videos!!
Good evening. Toshiya-san. Just watch your video while on the way home. Sorry to bother you. Just curious, are those drinks and ice cream free in manga cafe free? How much is the charges? I don't think I have seen any manga cafe in my place yet.
Thank you for your question! Yes, it's for free. The cost is included in the charge of manga cafe. The charge of manga cafe depends on the shop, seat and day of week etc., but 650JPY(4.5USD)/3h, 1,050JPY(7.3USD)/6h in the case of this video👍
@@toshiya-japaneseofficeworker Thanks for your reply. Seems like cheaper than the one I visited in Japan. Anyway looking forward for your next video. 👍
