I support this so wholeheartedly, there is so much bad in the horse industry, especially at the professional level, which really disgusts me because they are supposed to be the best and should be setting the standard, not having no standards. They don't care about anything but the win. Given a lot of abuse coming out that's happening at the top level, I will be boycotting all equestrian sports in the upcoming Olympics. I encourage everyone else who cares about the welfare of the horses to do the same. It's ridiculous how these horses are being trained and ridden. Dressage for example, blue tongues from a lack of oxygen, yet it gets rewarded with a win. Bloody mouthes, constant Rollkur, horses that cant even stretch their necks properly anymore from the constant hyperflexion of the neck, lack of oxygen because of the same. Nobody educates themselves, they just say, "Oh, look at the beautiful dancing horse." It's not beautiful when it's forced and unnatural. That's just one discipline and this occurs in some shape and form in every single discipline. It needs to stop.
