The State Natural Areas of Devil's Lake State Park (Wisconsin)
Просмотров 20Год назад
Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin is one of the state's most popular state parks. Not many people are aware that within the park, 4 State Natural Areas (SNAs) protect the most geologically and ecologically important areas. Three of those SNA's are overviewed in this video (and Parfrey's Glen in a separate video).

Would you say that these are worth going too? I have a 1 year old and a 7 year old. I strap the one year old to my back to hike, would this be too hard to do that with?
Thanks for this.. I’ve been wanting to check out all the local state natural areas & wildlife areas.. I’m into birding, wildlife, photography & hiking and love just checking out new places in nature. I will check out your channel & other videos…
Thanks!
One of my favorite places
*note: most of this area is not open to visitors without permission*
Very nice your new subscriber stay connected
Thanks!
Can you hunt there
Super impressive that you have visited so many.
Thanks! I've seen them all, but didn't start taking short videos of them until recently....so I will visit them all again. :-) Not a bad way to spend one's free time!
You da man So relaxing
Thanks!
Hiked up there for the first time in fall 2018. I was really impressed with the view. For some reason it was just grander than I expected. It was the first time watching a train go by from above and seeing it end to end. Will definitely go up there again. Thanks for sharing.
This place is the BALLS BRO. great times
What caused all them rocks to pile up there?
Nice....ive been thinking about scouting there for the fall small game season opener for squirrels....do you see any squirrels or hear them barking? Any tall mature oak trees and hickory trees? Thanks...
There are all of those things here.
