The old Aylesbury YHAgroup did a sponsored walk along the towpath and I was wondering how it had all got so overgrown. Then I recalled that it was over half a century ago, in the late 1960s. We were collecting for Stoke Mandeville hospital.

Leaking lock gates. Have ever tried bouncing. Stand at the end of the beam and try to bounce it up and down. It sometimes beds the gate in.

Blimey certainly v v narrow! We have just done the old tunnel bit near Fenny compton and thought that was narrow enough but nowhere near as narrow!! X

I am the charm of Milton Keynes! hahahaha! It has it's bad moments like everywhere else but I wouldn't live anywhere else :)

I spent a couple of years boating back and forth through MK on the regular. Probably the best thing about it is that they added a footpath back from the towpath, so for most residents they've basically forgotten the canal is there. There are a few pretty rough estates adjacent to the canal so that's just as well.

How to get ducks out of locks. Stretch arms out and cast a shadow pretending to be a giant bird of pray , helps if you are wearing something like a jacket.

Wonderful video as always but the sound on this one wasn't at your usual standard and struggled at times at 100% to hear it clearly. Just letting you know from a viewers point of view it is not a criticism just letting one of our favourite couple know xx
