Well done! You must be an adult by now.
a tiffany carrico staple
that baritone saxophone at the beginning shook me a little
OMG!!!😂😂😂😂😂 What is this trash O jesus oh my god Im dying Haha!! This is hilarius what was those clarinets doing with the melody and those trumpets this is so terrible
Interesting tempo choice! That's a solid band sound too!
this sucks. I play trombone and we payed this song. we were much more exciting and enthusiastic. THIS SUCKS MAJOR COCK
Rude.
+Austin Cheese Ms carrico is my teacher and this is rather insulting, Austin.
Positively adorable.
You guys need more flutes my orchestra is playing this and um your guys preformance needs alot of improvement
They sound good but it was rushed
THANK YOU I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED THIS
I'm trying to learn this right now in jazz band.. I'm a flute player, trying to learn alto sax lol
So awesome
yes it is a girl playing the part of Javier. She also played the part of Jean Valjean the following year at her high school - Oakland School for the Arts.
cslamon what school is this why do they always do les miz and how do I transfer
Is that a girl playing javert
1st either Calvin or Mark. 2nd Haley. 3rd Emily. And 4th Harbour?
Tell me if I got the Trumpet section right.
all of the videos that I have are posted - SDC Les Mis Playlist #1 - 15.
this is from the year 2010; Jazz Explosion. I don't remember if it was Jazz Band or Ensemble.
when did they play Oleo!!??? Was this Jazz Ensemble? because the regular Jazz band wouldnt be able to pull this off
@FARSairsoft @MojoandKushMusic O.M.G!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR SAYING THAT!!! seriously! we played this at OUR school concert and if my teacher was ur teacher, he would get so mad he might throw a stand at u guys!! that was horrible! PRACTICE! our school, Hayfield, was SOOOOOOOO much better than yours!
I work for Joe set up richmond for 10 years now thanks for the video
hey this my band well i am mot this year don't be hatting why not make a nice comment eccept for crittisizing kids hard work and boasting about your self that is relly sefsenttered
Sick!
This is a great blues rock band on their way. Keep Rocking. Seen them live at the El Sobrante stroll. Even better live. Love that relic you where sporting.
@djyojoe definitely liked the fireworks this year. Last year we watched from underneath in our sailboat. This year we were on shore to hear the symphony play along w the fireworks and we loved it!!
Hey this is my birthday:D
Ima miss that school D:
@MermaidGAL101 It's supposed to be FASTER! I don't know what school you go to, but you're band needs serious help. It sounds like they're playing at Cantible the whole song! (Cantible=108 notes per minute or NPM as I like to say it). You have to speed up to Allegro con brio (132-144 NPM) at measure 9, slow back down to Cantible in measure 53, and speed back up to Allegro con brio in measure 70.
I played this in a school concert once, and I was a trumpeter. Let me say this-the saxes sound completely off key, the trumpets don't sound very good or loud, plenty of wrong notes, and the tempo is WAY to slow-I could NEVER play to this speed. Also, the percussion is AWFUL-it's focused way to much around drums. And the clarinets? They stink. We were better than these guys the first day we played this!
my orchestra can play way better
@FARSairsoft It's actually even slower, BPM is 72, then it speeds up to 144
MAN IM SO HAPPY THAT I DID THIS I KNOW MESS U AT THE END BUT ILL DO BETTER NEXT TIME SO YEP I HOPE ICAN BE A GREAT SAX PLAYER ONE DAY
i played this song and i hate it...too easy...i play bari and i love it...sounds good though
@StariviaKat yeah-- three notes into the piece and you missed the key signature....... XD my band director had screamed "THE KEY SIGNATURE IS Eb! COME ON!!!!!!!!" I was origianlly going to play this for the winter concert but I got moved to a higher band course.
-_- three notes into the piece and you missed the key signature.......
U guys need to play more legato on some parts, And make the sound come more smoother.
we used flute for oboe cues because our oboe player was just a beginner the trumpet was soft, almost couldn't hear it i think the biggest thing is the tone and harmony, the pace is actually fair, but the tone is just going a bit too far
@cslamon Either way, for a middle school band, you guys made this sound really good! I played this when I was in HS and we sounded about as good. So good job!
it sounds slower
Love it!!!
nice sound but a lil fast we played this song and i love it
wow shes good i go to that school nyasia brewer
yes please can you post it duh you were there you guys were really good, props! -haley
well our band doesn't have an oboe, it was a trumpet playing the oboe cues (and instead of using a straight mute the first trumpet player insisted on using a harmon mute instead of a regular straight mute making the part softer) i am 2nd chair in the trumpet section and i agree, this song is rather difficult to keep flowing and slow at the same time
thanks for posting our fine young musicians and congratlations to the band director on receiving a "Teacher of the Year" recognition from the Ed Fund!
ooo! we played that last year! but it was a bigger class! but they r still good! i cant hear trumpets though......mambye there r none....*gasp*
Cool jazz Liam!
