great job guys 👏👏👏
Awesome effort from all of the Level 2 participants!!
So very very proud. Well done!!! Brilliant ❤️
I absolutely love Richmond. We really appreciate the 344 and the opportunity to play with you all.
Bravo from 344 Victoria in Canada! I'm a Petty Officer 2nd Class (Equivalent to your Flight Sergeant) in RCSCC (Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps) Victoria, from Calgary, Alberta. Great respect from across the pond, your ancestors would have been proud to see such respect and well played music.
Thank you! Hi to you all the way over in Canada! Our band has performed virtually with a Canadian Air Training Corps band, have a look in our videos for Hands Across The Commonwealth!
@@344musiciansflightaustrali2 Cheers from Canada, may the Commonwealth live long <3
An awesome movie and an even better show
Awesome work! Love the dedication!
Amazing work! Wish I could have attended!
Hi, I'm in the ANC, I wish we had a band like this! I've been thinking about changing services but i'm not sure, it all depends on how I go this year, just an inquiry, if I did change over, say I was a CDT Leading Seamen (equivalent to a CDT Corporal) would my rank carry over in some way? Don't get me wrong, I love being in the ANC, its just in case I get bored.
Alright I had a mate in the Army Cadets and he was a lance Corporal (like a Leading Cadet) he was given that rank. Sometimes he get changed around a little, in general you will get the equivalent or your rank. Sometimes you may be demoted, it’s all situational.
@@RUSS-Wolfwrestlr , Ah right, thanks for that one mate.
@@AusPatriot You will become a cadet corporal as long as your performance is within the standards of the squadron your joining. otherwise they will most likely give you external JNCO training alongside your induction training (learning ranks and stuff about the RAAF). I presume your already strict on your cadets and understand basic leadership qualities?
Hi, the best thing I can suggest is approach your local Squadron and have a chat with them. The different cadet services have very different training programs, however there may be some skills that qualify for RPL. This would be best discussed with the Squadron Commanding Officer, who will then work with the Wing Staff Officer Training.
Brilliant! Respect to you all from Canada
Brilliant playing 344 Musician’s Flight & wonderful support of 22SQN RAAF. You & your families must be very proud. 👏🏻
Awesome song! Very interesting to see some familiar faces!
Absolutely outstanding
Very good, just watch the tuning, especially clarinets in unison. Overall very well done. MC talks too much in this video.
That was really well played! Great work CSGT Berkowitz! I do have to mention that Schindler's List was played with 344 FLT back in 2017, by me (Lachlan Guiney) when I was a CCPL. I know that's it's been quite some time now, but I just found it odd that it was stated that it had never been performed with 344, when my performance is on this channel. Regardless don't let that take away from the CSGT's fantastic performance, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Once again well done Berkowitz and the band!
Thanks Lachlan. I certainly do remember you playing the solo at our first ever major concert at Granville. Apologies, I missed this when reviewing the notes from the MC. Ben FLTCDR 344FLT
Oh my, that was from when CUO was a CSGT?
I am laughing my head off now that was so cool and funny nice dance moves leading cadet mo. (Im in the Austrailan airfoce cadets of 4 wing) Im loving it.

Hey 3 wing band, Sounding great! I recently saw the upcoming musicians course in September, is that going to be like the one in April where they will be able to teach cadets how to do the drums?? and is everyone welcome to do it? or is it for people who nominated for the one in April but wasn't able to do it due to how many people attended? Thanks
Hi Calissa. Thank you! We are unsure if we are going to run a drum course in September. If we do run it, it will be open for all cadets in 3 Wing, so please keep your eye out for the activity on CadetNet, and nominate when it opens!
Wish 8 wing had more members that played instruments other than drums.
Hi! There is a new band that has started in 7WG for wind instruments. We have previously had cadets from other wings join us on Musicians Courses, it just takes a bit more preparation (and you will likely have to cover transport costs yourself). Feel free to email me to discuss further at 3wgaafcband@gmail.com
Brilliant - one of my favs!
The Dawn service looked amazing! Thank you so much for the amazing experiences on the Musicians Course! I will definitely be back in September! Amazing Last Post playing there Sir! ❤
👍
Beethoven was real quiet since this dropped
Thanks for such an amazing course - can’t wait for april!
Fue una hermosa interpretación de la orquesta de un tango difícil. ¡Bravo por todos!
¡Gracias! ¡Realmente disfrutamos interpretar este increíble tango!
An absolutely amazing night!! I was there playing 3rd clarinet and would happily do it again anytime!!
Hope to see you at our next course in April!
@@344musiciansflightaustrali2 I'm sure I will be there.
What is the proper name for those drum beats? I've been trying to find the beats for quick March and right dress for ages
Which beats are you referring to? The drum sequences we play?
@@344musiciansflightaustrali2 yep

I can’t believe that this has come up on my RUclips after leaving a couple of years ago! I miss this band and everyone so much. You are guys are still killing it ❤️
Hey Little Red! It's been a while since you were with us! Glad you enjoyed your time with the band! I hope to do some event in the future where all the ex members are invited back and we can have a reunion! Hope your well! - FLTLT(AAFC) Simon
I recently left the air force cadets due to a school change that holds a army cadet unit I remember always being fascinated the band 3 wing had as a 3 wing cadet myself I really wanted to join the band but I never had the chance
Hi Jess. Thats a shame! Would have been great to have you in the band with us!
Finally a video showing the RAAF (in this case the Air Force cadets) playing the RAF March past. Too bad the RAAF don’t use it as the main march past.
Thanks Derek. We thought it was quite fitting to use RAF March Past for this parade, especially as this is the RAAF's 100th Anniversary. Little known fact - there is actually a march called RAAF March Past! The RAAF Band use it quite a lot!
Invercargill March, it's an New Zelamd march first introduced to my band Stedfast shoes Brassband Carrickmacross County Monaghan Ireland 1960's by Sam Bedford.
I really want 7 wing to have a band because I want to join 710 squadron in half a year🥁🎺🎼👮🏻♂️ and I play the trumpet percussion/drum kit/snare drum❤️✌️👍👌
Hi Matthew. Hopefully one day there will be a band in WA. 7 Wing does have an amazing Drum Corps you might be interested in, and we (3 Wing) often do virtual performances where cadets from other wings are able to join us. Just keep an eye out in CEA for our events! For more info on the drum corps, please contact your Squadron staff, or alternatively email music@airforcecadets.gov.au
Thank you so much, can’t wait till next year🎺🥁
@@matthewlindberg2844 Not sure if you have head, but 7WG just started a band in the last few months!
Very nice but I still think 2 wing has the best band
2 Wing have a great band! We are very fortunate to have a close working relationship with the team 'up there'. In fact, our first course was staffed by FLTLT(AAFC) Bridge and WOFF(AAFC) Macdonnell! In the early days of the 3 Wing Band, the team at 2 Wing were crucial to us being able to 'get off the ground'.
Bravo Zulu 3 Wing AAFC Band! A real shame that COVID-19 has put a bit of a dampener on the RAAF Centenary celebrations.
Thanks Martin! We agree with you, but are grateful we have had a couple of events this year in spite of COVID
I’m up for this activity tomorrow. I can’t wait
Salute from 2 wing!
Wonderful music and virtual concert these young cadets played, Thank You!

What is what called? The marches?

Aww thanks Hannah! Pity you have left cadets as next year we kick off our vocal group! -Ben
Incredible music, well done to everyone involved! Could you please remove the video suggestions at the end (or move them) as they block some of the credits : )
