Hello, beautiful soul! Sharing some tips and tricks I use when sewing paddings onto a crochet top. I sew my paddings on rather than make a sort of pouch for a removable pad because it helps smoothen the center of the cup. It keeps the cup in shape and prevents puckering cause by the tension of tying the top straps. 00:00 Intro 00:12 Materials 00:25 Making marks around the padding 01:11 Marking ...

Choosing Yarns for Crochet Crop Tops, Bikinis, and Swimwear

Hello, everyone! Just sharing some of my favorite yarns for crop tops and swimwear. For crop tops, 100% cotton yarns are really great cause they are light and breathable. For swimwear, some of the yarns you can use are cotton blends, soft acrylics, and bamboo silk. Its also a good idea to test the yarn you want to use by crocheting a small bra cup or patch then washing it to see how water affec...

Super cute! 😅
Thank you!
I have this simple spaghetti strap dress/nightgown that I love. Ive mended the straps and they finally have reached the point of replacing. I haven’t crocheted a minute of my life, but I’m a crafty person and I already have the supplies. I’d like to try to crochet new straps, but it would also have to be a trim for the bodice as well. Which of these types do you think would work best and be the most comfortable/durable? Also is beginner friendly?
The easiest would be the the 2-color strap. It is the most basic one. Hope your project goes well!
Finally a left handed tutorial 🤟 this never happens ahaha
Right? I struggled a lot when I was starting to learn how to crochet because most videos where right-handed, so here I am. Thank you for the comment!
I don’t understand this tutorial please. The increase and decrease part is very confusing for me and I can’t see what you’re doing
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I was a beginner at making tutorials here, so I was still figuring out how to go about filming and editing. I hope to remake this series in the future with some improvements.
How to flip a video?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I am hoping to get back into making tutorials in the future and plan to include flipped videos for right-handed crocheters.
Thank I for this video I was struggling to attach my cups together and thought i could just do it I my own but i guess not😅😅
You are welcome! Glad this was helpful.
Mine is curving 😢
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I know it has been a while, and you may be far along in your crochet journey. But I wanted to reach out just in case. You might be decreasing stitches by accident. If this is the case, stitch markers can be a lot of help to remember your first and last stitches. Hope this helps!
How do you connect the strands t9 the back please 🤔
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I know it has been a while, and you may be far along in your crochet journey. But I wanted to reach out just in case. I'm having a little trouble figuring out which part you need help with. If you are still on this project and have not resolved it yet, just let me know!
Such a wonderful and helpful video, thank you!!
Thank you for the kind words!
How do you weave in the ends from the chain?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. Great questions. It's a bit hard answering this by a comment. I'm hoping to redo this series and will include this next time.
For the foundation single crochet, how do i attach the end?
Hi! Thank you for your question. For this method, you do foundation single crochets up to your desired length. So that then become the end of the strap. After the last stitch, you can pull the loop then cut it and weave in the end or you can thread some beads to decorate the end of the strap.
Cats skating and crochet best of three world all put together
Yes, right? Thank you for the kind words!
Emmm. I’m right handed. Is this for lefties? I’m having great diffs with this. Eeek
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it. Yes, I am left-handed. I'll look into flipping my videos in the future so that its available for right-handed people.
Im really having a hard time im a right handed person😵
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it. Yes, I am left-handed. I'll look into flipping my videos in the future so that its available for right-handed people.
Great information
Thank you for the kind words!
I enjoyed making this 💚 Thank you for sharing
Thank you! So glad you liked it :)
Love your videos! How do I tell which side is the front if I've already worked in the ends?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I know it has been 2 years, and you may be far along in your crochet journey. But I wanted to respond to you just in case. It is usually determined by the last row of your cup. If you aren't sure what that looks like, start a small strip using the stitches you used. If you used single crochets, make a small strip and use that to match what is the front of your cup.
Where do you buy the padding? I couldn't find it at Joann's. Everything I found online has a small selection and online they seem like more of a one-size-fits-all thing.
What I usually do is cut the padding to the size that I want. I live in the Philippines and buy paddings from local sewing supply shops. The one I go to specializes in gowns, so they have a decent-sized selection of paddings.
Thank you! Great video 👍🏻
Thank you for the kind words.
i attached the cups using the part 2 video before i saw this and i wish this was part of that one :( i’m just going to continue it in the next row so this won’t attach the cup just create a band
Hi Ramya! Thank you for your feedback! I'll put a note in the video description about it. This was part of some of my first videos, so I was also learning as I go. Will keep your feedback in mind when I work on other tutorial series. Hope your top comes out lovely 😀
Hi What type of yarn did you use for this?❤️
I used Lily Sugar'n Cream 100% Cotton :)
I love the thumbnails and the overall structure of your channel and videos
Thank you for the kind words! Have a lovely day 😄
Brilliant idea with the erasers! youʻre a great teacher :) This is easier to see with the different colors.
I want to support you but honestly your videos are too hard to see compared to so many other crochet tutorials. Grey yarn on grey background doesnʻt help. And you use such a small yarn that itʻs hard to see what youʻre doing.
Hi! I'm new to making crochet tutorials, so I'm still learning the ropes. I really appreciate your feedback and will keep that in mind for future tutorials. Thank you!
Love your videos ❤️
Hello I'm new in crochet. Can I ask how many crochet yarn In the crop top you made.. thank you.
It depends on the size of the cup and the design of the band. If its a simple top, 1-2 balls of the Sugar'n Cream.
Love how informative this was but I got super lost! Could you perhaps make individual videos on how to make a tall vs wide cup?
I'm actually planning on redoing this video so make it clearer once I have a bit of free time.
Kinda confused. You talked to fast 🥺🤦♀️ but it’s nit your fault I’m just really slow to get the instruction.
Thanks for the feedback. Can you tell me what step you need help with? I can break it down or write it down for you.
can you post some tutorial for beginner?
Sure! Can you tell me if there's a specific part or concept you want to learn more about?
This is so helpful, thank you so much for the tutorial! This video deserves more recognition 😍
Thank you for the kind words 😊
New subbie alert 💖🧶✂️ Where can we purchase the Loops and Threads Capi yarn or do you maybe have a link? Thanks so much for video! Looking forward to future ones ☺️
Thank you! You can purchase it at Michael's. I do want to point out that once it gets wet, the fibers get a bit more noticeable compared to when cotton does.
Thanks for the video
You're welcome. Thank you for the kind words!
This is FANTASTIC!!! THanks for sharing...definitely need to hunt down more of your videos. These are VERY clever strap ideas!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you liked it :)
This is a very informative video, thanks for all the great tips.
Glad you enjoyed it!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you for the comment!
So good! Idk why being left handed is so confusing. I'm ambidextrous at a couple things but it looks so different 😵💫
Feel the same when I was starting to learn crochet, and all the videos were right-handed. But gotten used to it like most things 😁
Watch the videos through a mirror
What about plus size cups like DDD
Hi! Thanks for asking. I actually have this in my to make a video list. Hoping to film that soon :)
Thank you for the video, it's very helpful!
Thank you for the kind words!
Love the coral colour 🌹
Thank you for sharing🙂💖. All three of these videos are so useful for bralettes.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Really happy you like them :)
I have to try this😍
Very cool advice. I've done this on the sides before but not in the middle yet
