Honda Rebel 1100 DCT Oil Change
This is just a quick video I roughly threw together on how to do an oil change on the Honda Rebel 1100 DCT.
Main Oil Filter Part Number is 15410-MFJ-D02
Transmission Oil Filter is 15412-MGS-D21
Honda Pro GN4 Motor Oil - 10W30
Tools required:
•12mm 6 point socket for the two drain plugs
•5mm Allen for the cover plate on the transmission .8mm socket for the transmission filter cover
•oil filter remover wrench

Honda Rebel 1100 with Coffman Exhaust swap
Просмотров 2 тыс.Год назад
I replaced my stock Honda briefcase muffler with a Coffman’s muffler and this is how it sounds. In my opinion it sounds far better than the stock one and I’m happy I bought it.
I have a 2023 Rebel 1100 DCT and I’m about to attempt to change the oil by myself.. thanks so much for the help! 💜💜
So it takes little over the 4 quarts of oil for everything? Or it takes two different kinds of oil? For transportation DCT and for engine oil?
It takes the same oil as the engine.
@@OnlyTheStrongSurvive416 thank you so much
Great video! Doing my first 600 on a 2023 hopefully it’s the same
Excellent video. Thanks.
I was really feeling your pain right before you "miraculously found" the socket and driver! (LMAO) Thank you for posting this. My break-in oil change is coming up and you just demystified the entire process for me! Much obliged, brother! I'll subscribe and see what all you post.
Thanks for making this video. My first oil change at 600 mi coming up. You took the mystery away, nice camera work!
Thanks for the video. Did I miss something? You did not show how to drain transmission oil and where to fill it. Did you?
The engine oil and transmission oil are both used from the same oil. Same tank
@@rebel1100life thank you.
Thanks for this!
Great video! Thanks alot..
you put enough miles for the first oil change and you still have the warning stickers on the tank?
😅 been too lazy to remove it but I will here soon
600 miles is not a lot of miles. Some people are not all about just looking cool. Funny how you commented on the tank stickers.. bet you don't even ride.. stay cool bro!😂
@@SULK81 I don't ride? I'm confused by what you mean
@@SULK81 sorry i mis read. BET not BUT. sorry you lost that bet
Sorry, NOT Sorry. BET 💰 🤑 confirmed. Not a real one. Have a great flight Eager beaver...😂😂
Thanks for uploading this, did you need crush washers for the oil pan bolts? I am going to do my first service on my 2022 this weekend , always had Kawasaki’s and BMW and they always had crush washers. This is my first Honda
I’ve changed the oil twice now and haven’t needed any crush washers and there hasn’t been any leaks
Watched multiple exhaust videos and nobody has the common sense to do old/new back to back. Thank you! That alone, I'll check out some more of your 1100 content
😂
What's with the smoking ?
It was just steam, was a cold day when I swapped the exhaust
Practically all new exhaust have some smoking due to the oils and burn off from the manufacturing process.
