This is obviously AI
The stills are! The products are real. I found more gross canned food for another video as well.
Styrofoam label? Man, that brings back memories. Haven't seen one of those in decades.
I have been careful not to tear it. It’s all old and crispy now.😬😑
Like #2! It's been awhile and wow! Look at all those subs, you're doing well my friend. Love what you create and what you have been doing and I always new you would do special things on here. Way to go! Love your editing skills, if only I had some...lol Good stuff, the only comics I can remember from childhood are The Unknown Soldier, Aqua man, maybe a Hulk or two and some Thor. Thanks for sharing 👍👍Have an awesome weekend Greg ✌
I appreciate your kind words. You've been a big supporter since the start and I am very thankful for that! (Wow, that comment was the RUclips’s AI suggestion to paste in!) exactly what I was going to say, though, so thanks! I was wondering what you were up to! 😎 I know MY watching habits vary greatly, and in a way, I kinda hope people watch LESS “TV” anyway, so I figured you were fully engaged in life, hopefully in a positive and rewarding way, not a stress-ball Cougar-Mellencamp kinda rut, we end up in from time to time. 😅😮. In a few months, I will hopefully be decorating the basement game lounge project! Hopefully it ends up looking fun and inviting. 👍
@@mackeymintle66 That sounds so cool, I'm so happy for you and to see everything coming together for you. I have been a stress ball dealing with a few things, but it has gotten much better over the past week. So, things are looking up my friend. I actually started making some content in early January, I started with a VR for Rob @commentingcollector and I still have not found my zone, still trying to feel natural and relaxed talking to a cell phone instead of in to one.....lol I know I'll eventually get there though. Just been working steady and taking care of my family, working on some projects at home and trying to stay on top of things in this community. I only get about 3 hours of sleep a night before work, so that's a little tough. I have been doing it so long though that it hasn't affected me yet....lol Glad to see and hear that everything is going good for you. Hope to comment a little more than I have with you content, it is truly amazing what you are doing with AI. I wish I were able to do more with editing. Have an awesome weekend and hope to see you around, so excited for you Greg. ✌
@ if you’re using an iPhone, and iMovie, I am happy to give you tips, on anything you see me do in my videos. If you just want to the casual basics of film school editing techniques, in any editing platform, those are also pretty easy to remember, or jot down and practice. Just like playing any instrument, the more time you spend noodling around and practicing , the more it starts to feel intuitive. When to edit, how to film, in the first place, knowing the edits you want to make. It’s called storyboarding, in the Movie biz, and film nerds can sometimes learn to do it in their heads, (think the great directors). I should make a short video about this stuff. Not everyone went to film school, or has a critical eye for the way films are made! 👍😎 Hang in there! I will go scan for your content.👍 Chris Sewell’s video about PSA was great, btw. Check it out. Makes all my points, but with data that would matter to folks who are collecting modern etc. that video makes me feel more comfortable piling on to the “anti-grading “ argument. 😬😎👍
I like blue soda because they clearly don't waste any money on marketing
I like thinking about the art department at that company. 😂
"Sweetie, what's wrong? You haven't even touched your goblin burguers"
Creepy and funny 😆
I recognized that thumbnail and clicked. Check the value for #181
That covers for 182, 181. looked familiar, figured they was iconic-ish. I’ll ho check raw sold prices. I remember the day I sold Chris a lot of key Daredevils and X-Men. 🤮😂😎 Some of the only things I ever sold…
Wasnt the 90s like the most peaceful time in the US? Why they canning anything
Food preservation, same reason it was invented kid
@MacNuada There really wasnt a threat to a food supply at the time, no need to can everything
Gulf war, end of the Soviet Union. Not really peak peace. High tensions. Obviously you weren't alive at the time. Definitely not the most peaceful time in the US lol. Rodney King ring a bell? LA riots? Canning was still a big thing.
@@TheSandwichMonster 2 of those happened on the 1st year, before the fall of the USSR, and all those 3 happened in the first 2 years of the decade. Not much in the rest of it, excluding Yugoslavia and Desert Fox, which were outsude the USA
@Alguien644 so I guess if I said the 2020s were pretty peaceful in the US if you ignore the first 4 years. That's accurate according to you? Just a bit of war and civil unrest.
These foods are perfect for your apocalypse bunker.
As a wacky package kid, AI is a magic tool, for creating imaginary objects
I hope this information helps you a bit: 1) Those early issues of Defenders you have are part of the Avengers/Defenders story arc. They're worth some dough...Especially #10 because of the Hulk/Thor fight. 2) Moon Knight #1 is worth a pretty penny. It's drifted down a bit since the tv show came out, but it's still not cheap. 3) Those diamond price boxes are an early sign of being Direct Editions. The ones sold in comic stores and not gas station/grocery store/pharmacies. Don't believe all the modern hype you'll see...People are all hung up on newstand editions right now that were sold everywhere, but those old Direct Edition books were by far the more rare ones, since there were not that many comic stores during that era.
Thanks so much for the info. I knew a lot, back in 81-84, but I moved on abruptly after that, into starving artist mode. It’s slowly coming back, as I revisit them. So fun. I know you’ll love the silver age stuff. I know I have some good books 😎👍
Need a video with the car!
North Carolina Car, purchased in 1997-ish. Duller and currently idle in the garage. I moved to a town where nobody can work on it.😢 slowly dabbling myself to learn how to swap a carb, or redo a carpet kit. Stuff like that seems doable? No $ set aside for a restoration at this juncture. 😂 fun car though! Daily driver in LA as a Game designer. Such a hipster Art nerd thing to have done…but I was bitten by the vintage oddball car bug for about 5 years. It was pretty fun driving a boat in the right lane of the freeway. 😂😂 Valets didn’t know how to drive it usually. Lol😮
Love the backstory
I like seeing stuff I've never seen
35 years of thrifting yielded some pretty unique stuff! The real value is in the reactions created by the products 😬👍
I like the celebrity products
I can’t believe I held onto some of the stuff I am finding, but I’m glad I did. Lol
wow. super cool video. seems like the only ones you and i have in common is the 1986 topps wax box and the welcome back kotter box.
That was a fun n day taking a look at what I had saved. 😅
Love the homage and the item!
I get some pleasure out of doing a J-Son style VO in a campy radio voice!😅👍
I never thought about collecting mugs but they are great! I like the color glass bake ones
I have a history of diving in to some random collecting rabbit holes through the years. I can let most of it in the future. I have maybe 15-20 mugs or interesting glasses that I regard above the rest. What a nerd! 🥸😂😎
I think the entire collecting genre is kinda nerdy though. It definitely is a compulsion of sorts. @@mackeymintle66
I collect Pyrex refrigerator containers. Specifically the smallest dish/ container ( 501-c). Have ever color they produced
I think the first Pyrex I ever bought was an early Red Container (Refrigerator) with a flat style lid, and some matching custard? Cups? I will have to find that stuff. I like that early dark red Pyrex color🤨🥸
I think the reddish bird at the end of the video is a house finch, but it could also be a purple finch. Thanks for filming our feathered friends❤
You're right. You're the king of obscure!
Found your videos. I like!
I occasionally pay homage to your “ Collectible of the Day” VO. I may even simplify some day with a light box and a lazy susan too! 😅 thanks for the sub. Let me know what you think of anything you find interesting 👍
I like how yours are video edited
First new teen titans issue dc presents #26 Tomb of Dracula #12 is 2nd blade issue
I looked up the Blade appearance. Pretty cool. I am 90% sure I bought that on the advice of my friend “Dave” who got me interested in Comics in n the first place.😎😬 Oddly enough, Blade would have a big impact on HIS life! 👍
I only have a space invaders Atari 2600
Like, a modern plug n play one? I remember seeing something like that at Target 20 years ago. Kinda weird how the Atari brNd os currently pumping out new consoles and retro collectibles!
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤
I dont know. Have you heard these modern day rappers? 😂
Hah! I have heard some very mediocre stuff in passing, on the radio. I actually think I found something worse… on a CD I have. Brace your ears. 😂
I never played that Naughty Boy game, never seen it before. Joust looks so good as does Moon Patrol. nice epic collection thanks for sharing and thumbs up!
You’re one of the few Arcade Marquee Fans who has commented! 👍😬 I always loved them, and do much more affordable and easy to store! 🧐🤓
wow! that is a huge collection of old school games!!!!
Yeah 👍 I forgot how many I had found. I probably bought my last one in 2001? 2002 maybe? Finally going to be able to put them to good use, I hope! 👍😎
I know Mackeymintle66
Had you seen the Hammerman cartoon show before?
Nice books, thanks for sharing
By the time I finish flipping through all 10 boxes, I will hopefully recover some of the comic knowledge that I had forgotten?
Amazing patches! Larry Bowa looks like a hippie elf.
Holy Chihuahua! St. Francis DOES look like Keanu Reeves 😆
Looking good!😅 that’s a lot of work🎉
Neat project!
It’s going to be something! Lol. Hodgepodge Chic!
Great video, thanks for sharing your collection
My heart breaks for all who lost their houses and who love this area😢 Altadena holds so many of my childhood memories. Thanks for sharing your experience
So sad
🙏💔❤️🩹❤️🙏
I have some of these.. late 70s early 80s
Do you flip through them ever? I haven’t for decades… it’s fun! ❤
Very exciting! That’s a tremendous amount of work🎉 I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out
There's a lot of work ahead of me, but it will be worth it! 🤩 (canned AI response) 😂
The marble you placed on top of section 5 looked like a German handmade, which is valuable.
I have a few small German handmade ones. I hope to dig one from an old schoolyard one of these days!
Cookie is the best! I enjoyed the freeze frames and the purring. Thank you
I ❤ Cookie 🥠
She’s a cozy friend! ❤
CC appeared down here in southern Illinois for a brief period, around 1980 or so. I bought the few issues I found. (Never knew about the 15th issue! Thanks for the info.) George Freeman went on to do work for Marvel and maybe DC, but I don't remember seeing much. As for the later versions of CC, I remember seeing them listed in distributor catalogs, but wasn't able to order any. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your info! I had a brief memory of possibly overhearing about the 2004 relaunch of CC. I would have been focused on work at that point. No time for media or hobbies… gotta admit, it’s been fun digging through these old collections!
Aww baby ❤
Good eye for cool covers, and they look pretty sharp and clean condition... Nothing of major monetary value, but fun video.😊
It’s going to be fun rediscovering what I bought, as a kid! I did buy an old lady’s comic books at a yard sale a couple years back. Some good early Marvel stuff in there, but not as fresh and clean as my childhood stuff. 👍 thanks for the $ heads up!🤓😎
Nice comic books
I’m excited to see the collection again! I’m going to finish off the first long box filming tomorrow. I know I have some early Marvel stuff, in one of these boxes…unless my little brother sold them to buy HIS comics in the 90’s…🤣😑 I have all of those comics as well. Sadly.☹️ he died in 94.
Love cats, Merry Christmas my friend
Mne stay inside, so no dead birds, or chipmunk tails on my front porch! 👍🤓🎄
Something about seeing him channel his classic JP1 persona with his Lost World look is fascinating.
I met him once, dropping off something from the studio at his house. He answered the door in a robe! And his foyer was made of lava rocks… very Jeff!
This is the most Jeff Goldblum thing I've ever seen Jeff Goldblum do
He’s a true character. Great stories.
Good stuff
Fun stuff
you figure it out ? it won’t let me do nothing either and it’s doing this same thing to me . i even allowed full access and still won’t work 😩
Never recovered for me. Tried all the Reddit suggestions, other than deleting and re-installing… Recent Update didn’t solve. I finally just deleted a few hundred hours of work, and reinstalled. Works again… empty workspace. Typical designed obsolescence tactic affecting 12S users. What model iPhone are you struggling with?
@ i got mine to work by resetting my privacy settings . seen another video on it and tried then it started working . i got a 14 Pro Max . thanks
@ glad you’re back, up and running, without having lost stuff! (Other than time and sanity) I’m eyeing an upgrade before next Summer. Been using iPhones since the first one, but might go with a device that has more flexibility as a workstation so I don’t get stuck in the “Friendly Apple Environment “ 🤣👍🥸 Thanks for commenting. I was hoping someone else searches RUclips for stuff like this, the way I do!😎
Cool stuff
