I was just trying to make this same deck work yesterday. You're certainly a more experienced player though, but I can give you a tip. Metal Reflect Slime can contact-fusion into Egyptian God Slime, which is a 3000 ATK beat stick that also protects the rest of your monsters from attacks and effect targeting.

You know what would be funny if you had sword and shield to switch the attack and defense like metal slime

Thanks for the video mate, returning player and I just got into Plat 2 with Swordsoul. I haven't played YGO since the Tele-Dad era, an oldie.

This video should've been up 2 months ago but I have a severe case of procrastination. XD I honestly would not recommend doing the master climb with this since you're just too fragile against boardwipes, especially since it's tenpai meta right now. But if you're really that determined to do it, I would suggest a blind 2nd build since people will likely think you're tenpai when you let them go 1st lol. Cant you go into the level 7 fusion monster instead for a spell trap negate if going first instead of chimeratech

P.S If you activate Cyberdark Chimera to search power bond, you can no longer contact fuse away your opponent's monsters into chimeratech fortress dragon because of its restriction "You can discard 1 Spell/Trap; add 1 "Power Bond" from your Deck to your hand, you can only use Dragon or Machine "Cyber" monsters as Fusion Material this turn, also once when you Fusion Summon this turn, you can also banish monster(s) from your GY as material."

Obviously the most boring candidate for this is necrovalley but it hinders you as well so I've decided to skip it from this demo. The list of field spells showcased are Summon Breaker, Extra Net, Ryu-Ge Ascension Crest of Transmigration, Magical Meltdown and Walls of the Imperial Tomb.

Bored waiting for the update so I decided to showcase a goofy combo that Kashtira Fenrir enables. This is better in specifically TCG because there's 3 field spells and 3 Fenrirs there so u don't need to bring Unicorns and riseheart can banish another fenrir. Still an option to use in MD if you feel like experimenting

These are just what i managed to come up with on the fly, there's probably better combos. With the new support, this is decent for pure tenyis but it's by no means game breaking, it's still a 2 card combo deck. Imagine not playing a 1 card combo deck in 2024 lmao. For me, so far the only field spells worth searching are Necrovalley (Good in specific match ups but you need GY as well), Secret Village of the Spellcasters (in Swordsoul specifically) and Summon Breaker (AKA Bad summon limit).

1 more thing to add, I played overly greedy at the very end vs exosisters, could've went into battle to run over everything before i summoned protos to seal the deal calling light, lucky that I didn't manage to throw the game there lol
