Totally agree with this message. The actor Sally Phillips who has a son with Downs made a documentary 'A World Without Downs' for the BBC. In it she revealed that since a new early prenatal blood test was introduced in Iceland, the rate of terminations where Downs was detected rose to a shocking 100%. People with Downs are typically gentle, loving souls who enrich the lives of everyone they meet. We should cherish and protect them, not try to eliminate them.

ive never understood how you could treat them negatively. ive personally found that people with down syndrome tend to be the nicest people and so much love to give

When I was a kid in the late 50's we lived near one of the few schools for kids with special needs. These kids,without exception, were the sweetest, most loving people you could ever meet. The only time I ever saw any of them unhappy was when other kids bullied them, I learned so much from them and am forever grateful.

My 7th grade teacher had a little boy who had downs. We got to meet him and learn about what caused it. Something that stuck with me. What a great family 😉😘
