What shifter are you using? It looks similar to the one that comes with the V99, but the 99 is a 6 speed gated H-shifter. Not sequential.
I used the v99 shifter and holding down two buttons in front of the shifter for 3 seconds its gona change mode to sequential shifter

I would recomment using the new MK5 supra with widebody kit and a bit more power is incredibly smooth for drifitng and gets you more angle
