I liked Beat's arc in this game, he was a fun character.

I see now, this is what it's like to have a stroke....

I didn't recognize this track until I learned it was new to Solo and Final Remix, and they made great use of it during Beat crying over Rhyme and their backstory.... (the original DS ver played the typical Calling track when I checked back). It's perfectly sad and melodramatic. Probably my fav TWEWY track so far.

I think the bit I love about this version is that it doesn’t loose all momentum when it gets to “morning rays” and it’s hype as hell (not that the abrupt shift in every other version at that point is bad, but this is just so much more fun to me)

I just found this recently but I've been listening to this basically on repeat for the past two days, I didn't know there were mixes of this from Dream Drop cause I found The World Ends With You from that game and didn't know the music yet, but now that I have found it. It's honestly just amazing and I really love it X3

TWEWY's just been in with me for such a long time. From the Artstyle, Gameplay, Music and the story. It isn't just a game anymore. Lullaby, Runaway and Little Things. They just speak directly to the soul. It's like the game itself is something Hanekoma was talking about resonating to people.

I’m very rarely emotionally impacted by media. I don’t have an explanation, I just don’t feel for fictional characters like that. But this game is the sole exception. The ending of this game made me teary-eyed. Seeing all of the characters I grew to love finally get a happy ending after everything that happened throughout their story resonated with me on a personal level. Especially Neku, who I heavily related to. That final ending cutscene might be my favorite scene in any video game, with Neku’s last speech sounding so genuine and heartfelt. This game helped me grow as a person, expand my borders, which is the philosophy that the game teaches you. If you want to enjoy life to its fullest, you have to expand your borders as far as they go. The title of the game says it best. The world ends with you. A philosophy that I will carry for the rest of my life.

I remember working at a McDonald's, and I absolutely despised one of the bosses there. She was emotionally abusive and always took her anger out on everyone. I was able to transfer to another store, and they treated their employees much better there. This song honestly to me makes me really feel like I escaped that godawful place. I even beat this game the first time while working there.
