It’s coming to an end...

Sadly, it’s coming to a end before it really got started good. The garden that is. Not a terrible spring garden, but I was certainly hoping for a better tomato harvest. Turning my frown upside down and starting to plan the fall garden. I hope you’re having better luck. #farmstead #amosfarmstead ✨OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS✨ •Facebook: Amos-Farmstead-599346100570245/ •Instagram: insta...

Thanks for your video! I have a lot of peppers growing in our earthboxes! I'm always looking for ways to use the peppers!,
this is a pickled pepper recipe not a sauce
I was born and raised in Georgia. Have always called this pepper sauce. Absolutely delicious on turnip green, collards and any dried bean.

I am so glad that you posted this and I hope you post more about your greenhouse.
Awesome 👍🏼
Thank you so much. I planted two tobasco pepper plants on a whim and, omg! They make so many! I was wondering how to preserve them. Y’all are awesome! I subbed!
Is the plastic between the cattle panel and the chicken wire? Or is it on top of the chicken wire ?
On top so it could be changed if/when needed
@@amosfarmstead , thank you
What do you do with the peppers when the juice runs out? Add more brine?
Yes 🙌🏻
I like this one simple thanks 😊👍👍👍
I am lost. I live in a dead spot in Florida where everything dies. I think that contaminated floodwater must have sat here for an extended amount of time years ago. We have only crows and pigeons in our neighborhood and lots of bugs and molds. I've seen clusters of aphids the size of a cantaloupe on on screens many times. No plants or trees in our yard and everything we bring home dies. But I want to grow my own veggies and fruit so bad! Any suggestions for us? We live in central Florida
What area of central Florida do you live in? We not longer live in Florida but have a few awesome garden friends that still live there. Maybe I can give you the name of someone to help you. Repairing the land sounds like the first step.
*we now live in Tennessee
Can I add a clove of garlic
You certainly can.
Never put it in the fridge.
Why?
I have one like that a friend gave me the seeds for, but he called it an ornamental pepper plant. I think they’re pretty. II’m looking for a way to use my cayenne peppers.
Hello do you sale the pepper sauce and peppers
Your greenhouse design is the best I’ve found for our needs in Northern Florida. Thank you for sharing your design with the online community.
Very helpful
Beautiful plants!
Thanks for your video. It is full of interesting facts and procedures I always wondered about. I wonder if you also make other varieties of honey or if you buy or sell bees. It’s a vital part of the environment. Thanks
Thanks
I love pepper sauce. I always use canning salt and add a little sugar to mine but same Difference. It’s good the yougin is wanting to help
Vinegar? I never
You dont have to refrigerate it just add more vinegar as you use it.
Add garlic cloves and peppercorns gives it more flavor
I have always heard that those peppers are just ornamental peppers and you cannot eat them I wish I would have known that cuz I would have bought them already
I understand clipping the green Tabasco's to add color but when they're ripe they will come off the stem with hardly any resistance at all. BTW, to me the Tabasco plant is the most beautiful plant in my yard, i was amazed how fast it grew from a 6-8" bud to almost 5' tall!
A basting bulb works great for filling those jars.

Great review video. Well put together showing little pieces of what you have going on as well as advertising a great product. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words. 😃
Very cool, Tennessee is my home away from home. Truly! I love this, sow the seeds of your dreams 👍 -Josh
We absolutely love it here. Thanks for stopping by our channel.
Good review. Our chickens love Grub Terra.
Thank you. Our chickens really enjoyed them also.
Hi, love the video . I’m in Alachua FL, where are you guys?
Good luck to you on your new adventure. I will be following along.
Thanks, Dave. 👍🏻
How much sauce is made if I follow your recipe by measuring it exactly the same as you did?
Wow so which farm bird is the bravest for eating a live snake???, haven't seen any videos other than them walking around a snake
New friends here, looking forward to connecting. Can’t wait to see what y’all do with your bees looks like a great set up. Blessings
Please note I did not watch the entire video Because I'd expect a question like this to be answered at the beginning. Is there any particular reason why it can't just be thrown in the wash and dryer with the rest of the dirty laundry?
This particular jacket is light weight and delicate so hand washing is best to keep from it being torn up. The netting material is delicate and can be torn easily, at least on this style jacket.
@@amosfarmstead Thanks for the response!

I'm from St.Augustine, Florida and I will be doing this and various other methods to make some Datil sauces/Vinegar. Thanks for the tips!
Glad to help. I hope your pepper sauce turns out amazing.
thanks for the great information,,, onelove.
How long do you let them pickle before you eat them?
Alright, lol, I keep coming back checking for a new tour! 👀😜 Hope all is going great in the new place! 💚
We are still here. We’ve been knee deep in projects. Once the chicken coop is done I’m going to do an update on the happenings and maybe a farmstead tour after that. I briefly got to check in with your channel. Praying for your vision. I can only imagine how scary that must have been coming out of nowhere.🙏🏻
How do u not burn up without gloves??
So great to see your new property and the chicks and bees have arrived!! Good luck!
Man what a FEAT! Way to go, happy they are home!
There is definitely a process you must follow to get bees ‘home’ . In their time, not ours. The guys drove all night just to get them here while the majority were inside their hives.
So cool! I got up at 1:15AM and ate a spoonful of raw honey 🍯 because I was craving it so much, lol. I see so many boxes of liquid gold. Aweeee 💚 the chickens look happy to be in TN!!
Have you ever tried Gallberry honey? Actually let me ask you this. Do you like sweet honey? Anyway, we extracted about 500 pounds of Gallberry honey when we were back in Florida. Our bees were a couple hours away, only 8 hives and we got tons of sweet deliciousness from them (Orange Blossom and Wildflower also) If you ever get a chance try Gallberry honey from Florida. My favorite so far. The chickens are so stinking happy that they get so much lush grass and lots of bugs daily. Back in Florida the would turn their spot to dirt if you left them there for more than a week. Loving this Tennessee life 🥰
Wonderful news for you all. Glad we found your channel.
Glad to have you here. Happy to share this new chapter. It’s full of projects and lots of fun ahead.
Great guys. We are happy to be following along on your new journey
Thank you for following along. Lots to share as we build the farm.
How exciting. Congrats!
Thank you. Loving this Tennessee life 🥰
Congratulations on the new place! The new adventures begin! God bless guys that's for sharing your new place! Tony n Lee Ann
Thank you so much. We’re excited to get started homesteading and beekeeping here. Lots to do and lots to share as we go along.
