im late as hell, but if they didn’t kill Mana. I feel like this show could’ve been better. The first episode was unreasonable. They killed her in the fucking first episode like wtf at least put her in until at least the fifth or fourth episode, why would they kill her in the FIRST FUCKING EPISODE?!?!?

I know this is a 3 year old video so I understand why its so outdated but just leaving this for anyone whom may be interested in the franchise, Idoly Pride is a multimedia franchise (like most idol anime), the anime was meant more like a commercial for the app, in the app all the issues this video is complaining about are fixed, it had a "Expanded Directors Cut" of the anime story, where every character gets character development and a chance to shine, its totally understandable why they could not fit that in into a 12 episode seasonal and instead decided just to focus on those few characters. Fun fact: The app plays cutscenes just like an anime, using the 3D models. At the time this video was made, that app had like no chance to come out for global, luckily the same publisher who published it in KR "Neowiz" is such a big fan of the franchise, that they localized it in 2023 even knowing the revenue would be low, just as a passion project. So while I agree the anime was kinda "mid" you are meant to play the app to get the full experience, also they cranked out alot more bangers since the anime. So I have to disagree that "Idoly Pride does not work", its one of the most beautiful idol anime franchises once you look into it.

It was rather slow paced , I watched it seasonally and loved it but I can't watch it in one sitting now. I think if you want to rewatch it you really can't binge.

I came from the novel and I have to say. It's one of my favorites. I'm currently about to read the sixth volume which I just found out is out.

Farming in another world I like it's nice

The only tolerable newly released one is campfire cooking in another world, the one with the Fenrir. Although a genre can be overdone, but if there’s enough pacing, content, progression and other story elements it makes it better executed than the others imo.

I loved watching this. There was something almost mysterious and eerie to it, but it's well balanced with little bits of comedy or jokes and of course because it revolves around kids.

Too bad you're wrong in many different angles.

I think this anime underrated now because no one is ever talking about it and i enjoying it. I might have to put it on my watch it again list because its great and I officially watch more then 200 anime and counting. (I love underrated anime)

This n Kill la kill did me in man... Kill la kill is great without pushing the yuri down ya throat, the action scenes are fuckin amazing. made me want to get into swords and Japanese culture fkin epic! i must rewatch, gave me chills (maby cuz it helped md thru a VERY physically and mentally painfull childhood so) anyways toodles!

This video is old so idk if you still hold these views but starting off by saying people only put it on their 3x3s to seem extra cool is just a giant cope. If the show's score being that high in mal and the pedigree of being a very unique and personal project by one of the most renowned animators of the past 30 years isn't enough, the consistently well directed action, fun varied cast and cool tech themes should convince you after a watch that: Yes, people probably just like this show because it's good. Specially ironic to say only pretentious elitists would put this on their 3x3 with such a clickbait title, and such a surface level overview of the show as this.
