I thought I’d share with you how I use charcoal and other art materials combined to create a sketch as a few people have asked me. In this video I have already laid a background of various materials (ruclips.net/video/nuXQXlvCRCM/видео.html) beforehand, then I have used - - Winsor and newton willow charcoal - Cretacolor powder charcoal - Tombow fudensuke pen - Uniball signo broad white pen - To...
dont fill the pen until you get to your destination, then empty it on way home. lol nice job ladies. lol nearly 8minsin and you answered it any way...i really shouldnt comment until ive watched the video through
Aha thank you John! ☺️
LOVE Lamy's and you can easily slide the nibs off to swap for a different size. I prefer a stub to an XF so hv many fine nibs lying around unloved. 1.9 is my fave.
I really enjoyed this creative chat!! I don’t have any “real life” artsy friends so it was especially sweet to sit in on your visit. I’d love to know which sketchbooks those are and the tutorial (Lucia) that you mentioned.
Ah thanks so much for your lovely comment! We are very lucky to have each other to chatter to about our creativity! The sketchbooks we mention are a tiny one from Temu (8x8cm), Pith Kabuso Sketchbooks (A6 size) and Stillman and Birn Alpha and Epsilon Sketchbooks. The workshop is by Lucia Leyfield, called The Nature Table - wildink.mykajabi.com/buy-workshops hope that link works!
Thank you for this. It's good to see that everyone can have a day it's nog going like we want. @journalingwithnature made her own inktober prompts. Maybe you like them more than the original inktober prompts? But for what it's worth: loved both of your outcomes x
HI Ilse! Ah, thanks for your lovely comment. We both think it is important to share when things don't always go as planned, as the internet is far too full of perfection! Thanks for suggesting the journaling with nature prompts, we will check them out and maybe pick some of those for our next One Line Wonder sketches! Thanks for watching :)
Love how you chat casually together. So relaxing with no pressure to produce a masterpiece but just enjoy it!
Thank you Linda! We do love our weekly chats, and both felt much better after our catch up and sketch! Thanks for watching and commenting :)
