TransAm Trail Eugene - Baker City, OR
Section two of our TransAm map complete. Eugene, OR to Baker City, OR. Traffic has been weighing on us. It’s defensive riding out here but we’ve had some fun along the way despite that aspect. Tough climbs through here.

Section one of Adventure Cycling Association map for the TransAmerica Trail. Emilee and I started in Astoria, OR riding to Eugene, OR. That tunnel sucks, you have to ride in the lane because of the road debris, its very loud, even with no cars in it, and its uphill!
@@Adventures4vida that scared me for sure! I was pushing so hard to get through that tunnel and just completely ran out of energy by the end. Needed a long break outside of that tunnel. Whew!
I rode the Trans Am on a trek 520! You picked the right stead for this adventure!
Beautiful scenery - I recommend a mic so you can describe your adventures. Best Regards, cheers 🍻
Been on this section many times many years ago…… the wettest i ever got was Tillamook on any tour but great trip great memories thx
Wishing you a wonderful trip.
excited for you! keep up posted
Where was this? And how fast was the wind going?
I don’t remember exactly but I think somewhere in between Palm Springs and Tehachapi, California. The wind had to be at least 30+ mph. Maybe more, I’m not a great judge of wind speed. I hiked all day in that wind. It was rough.
cool!
