Today we're checking out an untitled show by Lauren Halsey at David Kordansky in Los Angeles. The work is a giant installation of photos and hand painted signs that build on top of one another. Girl pop this rolls
Hi, Corey. From France, could you, please, make me know what this beautiful music is, all along your description ? Thanks very much. Fred
nice
This guy is one of my favorite contemporary artists. His works are simple, reminiscent of Andy Warhol’s screen prints…same image altered over and over. With the added element of depth (layered wood cutouts). And…bro can actually paint. Not just copy and paste.
This show is G AF
Dope!!!
Thanks for sharing this. It was hard to hear your comments. It is great fun to see the gallery and paintings for those who cannot attend in person!
I think your analysis is very true. great video and Michael is an amazing artist.
Your commentary takes away from David's work..you get an F..
Great video! What materials does he use in his artwork? I'm trying to recreate a piece of his artwork.
Excellent paintings! So talented!
hahaha very insane, bro! Thks for this... hi from Brazil
Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
Nice tour! I'm new to Hammons. I clicked on this because I like Ornette Coleman. I must have missed the connection somehow.
To my understanding the connection is in how Ornette traveled the world and experimented with different sounds and instruments. Hammonds is doing the same thing but with visual art.
a black art RUclipsr this is so fly love from South Africa

Whats up everybody. This is "part 1" of a 2 part video. There were so many works that I had to split the video into two segments because the overall video would have been like 30 minutes. The second part of this video will be up by next Saturday. I hope you all enjoy! Thanks again for watching.
Thank you for the video it is really good and interesting. Like your comments on it too!
donmenash thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate you taking your time to check it out.

What do you guys think about Urs Fischer's human killing chairs?
😁😂!!
Seems largely Murakami and not enough Virgil.. would've liked for it to be more 50/50
I also wonder what a Virgil show would look like. But, then again I don't think that they would put Virgil art in the Gagosian Gallery without being attached to someone who is more well known in the art world.
nice .. those close ups are great to see
Awesome video!
