This was a great day in one of my favorite areas near home. On this hike I saw many weasels, pika and marmots. Two stunning alpine lakes set each scene and I believe my high point was 13,100ft or something like that. What a beautiful day! #wildlifephotography #hiking #sanjuanmountains

The other morning I set out on a nice bike ride in Saguaro National Park. Following park rules, I of course stuck to the loop drive where cars allowed. It’s a gorgeous road and I didn’t encounter a single vehicle the whole morning. I packed along my cameras to capture photos of pretty sights. Of course, my husband Jon accompanied me; he was testing out his new Salsa Cutthroat!

A quick recap of my 7-day Costa Rica trip, where I worked hard to find wildlife on my own. I was able to photograph most of the wildlife on my wish list, which included sloths, coatimundi and collared peccary! I also saw an ocean for the first time in my life: STUNNING! The first couple days of this trip were a videoshoot for work, which had Jon and I staying in fancy accommodations!
