Yep. People who don't play guitar wonder why guitarists get new guitars and change guitars so much haha. But they all feel and sound different. They all have their own unique character. I just play acoustics, and at least in the case of acoustics, the differences in tone between different guitars is often huge. Especially if you have an ear for it. Like it just all depends on the way it is built and the woods used, the nut and saddle material, and the type of strings you use. I think maybe with electrics the difference is more subtle, as I believe with a solid body electric like a strat for example, the tone woods used might simply have a more subtle effect. I think maybe qith electrics the pickups affect the tone the most, but correct me if I'm wrong. Hollow body electrics are obviously a bit more similar to acoustics.
