We often measure the athlete who "makes it look easy" as having achieved a higher level. Azzi does that, much like Sarah. A player like Paige can do that, but often goes for even more. The level these young women have reached is really impressive. Now, aside from winning games and tournaments, they have the opportunity to mentor and lead other younger players. It's quite exciting to watch their progress, their styles, their achievements, and their rapport with the audiences.

Dancing queen ? Scoring champeen ?

I watched a video about stats on AZ, PB, together or separate. It showed that they can each score 20-25 alone, but together they usually still combine for about 25. So, we need each to bump that up about 15 each for total of 30. Maybe one goes on a tear for 25 and the other at 10. But, scoring more magnetizes them, so defenses get stretched in 3 directions (with their concern for Sarah or Jana being the 3rd).

If she can continue with this catch and shoot quickness she's going to make defending UCONN a nightmare.

A knee injury like she had is so hard to get back from. Getting to your normal playing potential is a lot of very hard work. Once you get back though, it is rewarding to know what you can accomplish. Her knee injury was a bad one. She missed most of 2 years. Great to see her confidence growing now.

If I were building in the W after the 3rd pick I would be looking at Azzi as a foundational talent that would help build a franchise.

I'd like to see AZ practicing short floater jumpers with Jana. Jana needs to learn how to consistently hit soft floater jumpers from about the middle of the lane.

She's pretty great. That's just who she is. The drives are looking really good. Short jumpers in the lane can be a challenge for some players. I wonder if she is consistently good on those.

Azzi has to, and did, step with Beuckers (bad spelling) injury. I think she might be intimated when they are both on the floor together and doesn't play to her capability. I'm no expert but look at Azzi's scoring prior to Paige's injury. Just under 10 pts . Just sayin.

Azzi is a very good basketballer, but she is nowhere as good as her uncle Elmer.
