Because your show in Kolkata went half empty, you told lies about Kolkata out of anger. Most sugarcane sellers do keep a bunch of peeled off sugarcanes ready (wrapped in a mosquito net to prevent flies from getting in and spread diseases) to put them into their hand driven heavy duty 4-geared crushers on demand. For a meager Rs. 10/- per glass they cannot afford a diesel powered mechanished crusher. Good restaurants like those on Park Street and other good localities do not take lunch breaks. And if you do not like old Kolkata, visit New Town, Rajarhat. Name one city that has produced luminaries like Raja Rammohan Roy, Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar, Rabindranath Thakur, Swami Vivekananda, Subhash Chadra Bose and so on. Except for Kailash Satyarthi, all the Nobel Laureates of the country including Abhijit Binayak Bandyopadhyay are from Kolkata.
