Mt. Baker received some fresh snow for our session up there yesterday, February 5th, 2022 And it was incredible. Tyler, Kevin, Kim and I got first and second chair on 7 and some of the first tracks through the upper right side of Gunners Bowl for the day! One of the best days I’ve had up there. Would you say it's worth 79 to 99 for a day?
I definitely do. I did the discount through the website. Very worth it on the discount. Most of the runs are super fast and clean. They groom it all very well. Bombers bowl is amazingly fast. I made a video for bombers bowl as well if you want a visual on the run. We sadly went on a day where there wasn’t much new snow. I think on a powder day it would be epic! And mission ridge is only 29 min away from the Marriott hotel we stayed at. So easy travel time in the morning.

I have not hiked these areas since the 90's. I totally want to get back at it and got myself the "modern gear" and a splitty for it. Not into letting "getting old-ish" become an excuse.

@@starkness8842 I'll be up again this weekend for sure, and then hiking after the ski area closes. Back in the day I pretty much always had to hike solo, which has become a bit "unfashionable" the last few years. I'll bring my pack and gear next time up. This is a great time of the year.

What were you shooting with, and editing 360 with? I have a GoPro 360 Max with some snow and Esk8 footage about ready to download.
@@jensandersen9422 I use the GoPro Max 360 to film. And I use GoPro quick to keyframe the 360 footage. My favorite software that I use for the rest of the editing is Splice. It’s a $10 a month subscription but it’s a fantastic app to use.

At 1:02 “Love this Part” when boarding was still a new sport I’m guessing 86-87, there were 8 or 10 skiers and two of my buddies (on boards) standing there taking in the view of Shuksan, when I came down straightlining that section on my Sims 1500FE I came to the group of people and my friends and yelled “How do you stop this thing” as I flew off that little roller and just kept bombing down to the 4 & 5 chairs. When my buddies caught up to me they said that everyone of the skiers were busting up, I was glad to make their day. A lot of awesome memories at Baker and still making turns today at 55.
That is awesome! I love that we can all build such amazing memories up at Mt. Baker. And one of the best views I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Yes, I’m using the gopro max. Love that camera. It has really changed how I film. You can hold it out in the air and not have to worry if it’s still pointed at you lol. I used a gopro hero 7 for a couple years first.

I’m using the GoPro max camera that films 360 degree footage with two lenses. One on each side of the camera. The road is very clear. I just parked up at Baker a few min ago for day three of the season! No chains required for current road conditions. Have a good weekend up at Baker!
