Wa alaekum Salam warahmatullah wabarakatuhu Sir/ma. Firstly, it should be known that there are different narrations from different Sohabah concerning this Hadith. And like I used to say, "I'm not a Scholar nor a Preacher, I'm just a regular Storyteller" 😂😂😂. And I tried all my best to pick my narrations or stories from Quran, Tafseer of widely accepted Scholars and different books of Hadith. This particular story of Angels coming for Clay was narrated in Ibn Katheer's Tafseer may Allaah have mercy upon him. He mentioned it at length, even longer than that which I mentioned, and then he himself ruled on it, saying, “There are other ahaadeeth that strengthen this story and "many" Sohabahs narrated it thesame way. So if MANY narrated it, the versions might have contain different wordings but that doesn't necessarily changes the significance. For reference sake he mentioned the story Quran 38. Verse 71 to 72. Conclusively, wordings cam change in different versions of Hadith, they are words narrated by men, so it is considered normal. Another example is what was written on the Arsh (Throne of Allah). In some narrations it says, ......sabaqoti gadobii. In others it says....galabati gadobii.... So the first doesn't invalidates the second, not the second invalidates the first. Though upon all.
