    Hi, I was reading a woman’s day magazine today and there it was talking about Bee Pollen. so I did a little searching and there you were. The benefits of the bee pollen were more then I had expected. It was presented very clearly and easy to understand! I just wish that you had gone into a little more detail about how much to start taking VB pollen and how often do you take it? I don’t know if I’m allergic so that’s the number one question what would be some of the side effects that you would notice quite quickly? Other than that it was very very well presented and so easy to understand thank you so much for your time. Aloha from Hawaii 😊

      I just started with a very small amount to make sure I wasn’t allergic and then I normally mix it with my yogurt and fruit in the morning. I don’t measure it. I just sprinkled on top and it really does improve the way I feel throughout the day.

    Another less rose glasses way of presenting the 27% figures Michael quotes is that 74 people would have to be treated for 2 years for one person only to benefit from not having a cv deat/heart attack/stroke. This channel imo is at least partly Industry propaganda. Maximises the repatha benefits in a cutesy charming way and minimise downsides and ignore the fact it does nothing to improve all cause mortality. There may be a study that shows a 27% relative risk decrease in heart attacks but there are other experts that have questioned aspects of that research from my memory. Also these figures sound a lot less effective when looked at through the lens of absolute risk reduction which is less than 2%. Bottom line, research cant be relied upon to be honest much as we would like that simple solution. It may be hinest but without doubt it is is often at the very least massaged to maximise benefits and minimise downsides. At worst, check out the Wiley and Hindawi catalogue story plus the William McBride story to understand scientists are like all humans, corruptible in smaller and bigger ways for a variety of rewsons esp career and emplyment, and thus that cannot a priori be trusted esp when its so often paid for by entities who have a financial interest in the outcome.

      @@Pharmacist_Michael T2D….18 mos ago my new PCP (my dr of 15 yrs retired and his entire practice closed) took me off of 1 mg glimepiride once a day with largest meal. His goal was to “see what happens”. What happened was my fasting BS went from 100 before his dabbling to well over 200. At that time I was eating approximately 60-75 total carbs per day, sometimes more if I ate brown rice.When I contacted him, his staff responded that he wanted me to allow this to go one for months and then do an A1C again to “see what happens.” I fired him, if he was going to ignore speaking to me to get a handle on things and pass me off to his office staff. Once again, I was forced to find a new PCP, who switched me to 5 mg glipizide, which was too high, so he lowered it to only 2.5 mg. With this erratic approach and still not finding a PCP I was comfortable with, I found an endocrinologist but it took months to get my first appointment. I took him a print out of my fasting numbers, which he barely glanced at so I showed him the app on my phone. He felt that a Mediterranean diet was ideal…not if you eat all that grain and pasta. I switched to very low carb after giving the Mediterranean diet a try, after that first visit with him. My daily fasting BS is now between 90-105 and A1C is 6.4…..however, at the 2nd visit AND 3rd visit, the endo noted (in his after visit notes) that he wanted me to increase my carbs enough to push my A1C to a min of 7 because of the glipizide dose carried a danger of low BS…stating that previous attempt to REMOVE glimepiride FAILED. So much for a doctor actually listening to what a patient is saying. He gave no consideration to the fact that I was NO LONGER eating high carbs and that I was now restricting my carbs…where the past was a high carb diet with all SU drugs removed being the CAUSE of failure. Therefore the possibility of a lowering the glipizide so that hypoglycemia is not a concern under medical supervision may be an option. BTW…he did not discuss this with me during my visit…I found this in the “after visit” notes in my patient portal, where there were several things he never said to me. One thing he did say (not in the patient notes anywhere) was “you will just get worse over the years” which is true if one does not amend their dietary habits…but that is not me. I hope that you get my predicament….finding a dr that isn’t afraid to discuss diet vs medication dosage adjustments options? I believe I am being reasonable. I am striking out unless I want to drive several hundred miles elsewhere and one that accepts Medicare. So, as a pharmacist, is a lower dose of glipizide something that is possible.

    • @Rusty6507
      @Rusty6507 3 дня назад

      @@Pharmacist_Michael I am a T2D, my fasting glucose is between 95 -105 most mornings eating 20 total carbs. If I eat 30 carbs it can be 120. I cannot find an MD locally who is willing to accept a low carb lifestyle and consider reducing my meds, specifically the glipizide. When I try to discuss this, he tells me to INCREASE the carbs and to RAISE my A1C to at least 7…to avoid having too low blood sugar that can be caused by glipizide. I feel that this a RIDICULOUS when I have kept my A1C around 6.4 or less for over 10 years.

    Eli Lilly did not invent Tirzepatide or Retatrutide. These peptides are not new, and the molecules cannot be patented, which is why there was never an effort to get FDA approval. Pharma companies actually patent the delivery system (the injector pens) NOT the peptide. These peptides can be bought from a variety of sources without the giant pharma markup.

I hate the medication’s prescribed these days, 10-20 years ago you could get relief using muscle relaxants with not as severe cognitive impairments that would put your mind at ease in a more pleasant manner. I hate muscle relaxants these days because they mess up my brain chemistry and cause me to react to my love ones in a mean way due to the groggy side effects so hopefully It doesn’t get out of hand with my lower back spasms I’m experiencing from sciatica.

After your video I made a list of your suggestions . Had a bad episode this morning , took some cbd oil . And going to try my tens machine . This just started about 4 months ago , the pain radiating from my right ear . Its not an infection as I usually clear up quickly with an ear infection using colloidal silver. Also need to go to oral surgeon to have him do a complete xray . Appreciate your video , immensely God bless you !
