Doing A Backflip At The Rope Swing in Lions Bay

Lazy summer afternoon on the cliffs of Howe Sound near Lions Bay on the rope swing and cliff jumping. The water was very warm (at least the top 6-8 feet and then it gets icy) and the ocean was a nice Caribbean shade of green because of an algae bloom.

We received a Helo TC Mini Helicopter from the fine folks at Griffin Technology at the office. The Helo TC Helicopter is controlled from an app on your iPhone and this video is our initial test to see how well it works. Overall, the Helo TC worked great!

Correction: that island across from Porteau is ANVIL Island....you can't see Gambier from Porteau Cove...unless you got X-ray eyes.

Hey buddy, I noticed this is April 2011? I'm thinking going in 2015, March, is snow good then? Staying in whistler village at crystal lodge From Queensland Australia.
March is usually one of the best months. This year they are predicting high snowfall so you should experience lots of powder!
As the other commenters said, this is a black bear (with brown fur) not a Grizzly. There are Grizzlies in Whistler though.
Black bear, not grizzly. Cinnamon coloured black bears like that are seriously photogenic!

Thanks for uploading. I was there years ago. The view to the north of the MANY mountain peaks fading off in the distance is wonderful...I never imagined it would be quite like that AND hummingbirds were all around us!! VERY WORTH the visit. You can drive right to a lot near the lookout a very short walk.

It's a remix of California Soul by Katalyst. Yes, you can ski almost the whole year at Whistler Blackcomb. The glacier opens at Blackcomb for summer skiing.

There are Grizzlies in the Callaghan Valley but this is a Black Bear with brown fur....
I wonder if Gregor can explain in Chinese he lets our government just like China PRC to spray chemicals from jets here that we breath to make clouds etc. Gregor Chemtrail Robertson is a rich yuppy that cares little about housing the poor or protecting our health. Nee-How :o)
