Problem with Indian Railway 😣
This happened with my co-passengers and might be possible with you too.
If you book your IRCTC railway journey tickets through any agent, make sure your name and each should match your ID proof.
She paid fine of Rs. 4745/- which was of Ticket travel fine her luggage and AC Charges too.
I guess she probably paid almost ₹6000 for this journey, which usually cost ₹1200-₹1500 only.
IRCTC official was working and saving his job by putting charges and fine, and the lady belongs to very poor condition was saving money for her spiritual yatra.
Both the persons were right, but maybe @irctc.official could find another way to solve this problem.

Yes I too faced this scam when I visited Rameswaram. They take extra money from people to pour water. Whereas for others with only 25/- ticket they just throw water in groups. I literally fought with them for doing this. They don’t care at all. Plz be aware ..!

It depends on the number of devotees.. if there is a large rush, they will just sprinkle a single bucket all together. If not then they will empty the entire bucket on each.
