I just watched your video again. Do you have a video of the method you use to create your swatches? I have at least 80 colors and swatches for all of them but after watching your video I want to do a bunch of the over. What does the Hebrew translate to?

Yay it seem to me to be the easiest way to do a bunch at the same time. You just have to make sure to keep up with labeling are you will have to start all over again when you mix them up. You are Welcome for the videos.

Hi I have almost all of those colors plus some spring and winter special ice dye colors from this year. Having issues with color combos and ideas
Yeah, I just experiment with the colors I like and think will look good together. I also use a color wheel to pick colors combinations that should look good together. Sometimes they turn out really awesome but sometimes they don't.

One of the things to watch for when working with Dharma size is an astric that denotes that it's a one molecule color. That means that it does not split into different colors because it is in a primary and not created from different dyes. I learned this from working with low water immersion dying. I have a 6 color primary wheel that I use from Dharma. The colors consists of two reds, two blues and two yellows. The two yellows are lemon yellow and golden yellow. The two reds are Chinese red and fuchsia. The two blues are turquoise and cerulean. The idea is that one of each of these colors leans more strongly towards the secondary color that it can create.
This is incorrect information. The asterisk just means you have to double the quantity when mixing. Single color dyes have an MX value listed next to it on the Dharma website. Also, Chinese Red is NOT a single color.

I’m glad you did those samples! Dharma doesn’t provide information on how a color splits. I have terracotta and lreally like the color. I was considering Truffle Brown. I would have been really surprised! It thought it was a purple brown. Safety pinning on the color names is a good idea!
Thank you... The only way I could think of not to mix the swatches up was to safety pin the names on them and it worked out. I just finished making ice dye swatches on all 61 of the Dharma Dyes I currently own and I was surprised by a lot of the colors. My next video will displays each one of the swatches and Hopefully it will help you on your future dye orders.
