In 2023 I retired from nursing (thanks to covid) and found then fell in love with Pickleball. I am encouraged to learn and grow in the game, so now I am videoing and sharing, hoping I will learn from my mistakes ... but also that others too can learn. I am amazed of the friendships I have found in the Pickleball community - much love, support, and encouragement.
I will show my games, games of others, as well as lessons and drilling sessions. I hope I can offer you ways to play, practice and drill as well ... especially take note of the things I don't do so well (always working on that). The pickleball community is awesome, and I hope you will enjoy these videos. Please, also leave comments of your observations ... of course, be respectful.
Thank you for finding my RUclips channel. I hope you enjoy the content and hope you subscribe.
Cheers!, and remember: play hard, play fast, and most important HAVE FUN!

Keith & KC 3.75 team (first time playing together) go against David 5.0 & John 4.25 team. Practice game to prepare for opening MLP league weekend. Keith & KC have this as our "learn to play together game" We get slaughtered ... but did we learn enough to do better in subsequent games? Scoring = first to 21/win by 2, one serve per side-out, rally scoring.

Great looking facility. What state is this located? Pretty decent play, you weren't lying about Tony, total banger. lol
I questioned 4.0 level players
Need to adjust the camera angle. I've never seen a pickleball matched recorded showing only one side. Weird.
So much fun!
thanks for uploading, it is nice to see gameplay at different levels! subbed, looking forward to more content!
just curious why did the guy on the right serve?
He's a lefty and they were stacking. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
3.0 level
Man in blue shirt in near court is volleying balls in the kitchen.
The most exhausting part about this game is getting the ball lol
The bald guy in the bandana is a cheater min 6:53 and has narcissistic issues... just saying. Cheater!!!!! boooooooo
0:33 What a great shot!! it deserves a name. Only tall people can achieve that shot. looks like he is going to Dink then is a curve spin drive. damn!!!!
this guy is crazy! crazy good. must be a 5.0.
Wow
3.75 - 4.0 looks sooo much different than in my region

Don't switch hands. Swing with the shoulder, not the bicep.
@@PickleSmithPickleball I've been trying to tell her this and will share your comments. But right now she wants to keep doing. Stubborn, and when she hits the 2 hander in games it can be awesome. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and help
Why are they all in the kitchen like that 😂
@@scottgarcia2552 actually the pickleball kitchen is a light blue line about a foot closer to the net. The white line you see is a tennis court line. Everyone remained legal.
😂 Amazing
@@etp8267 I know, right 🤣😎
I thought you were supposed to hit it over the net?
@@curtisstephan6419 at least I didn't hit it over the fence 😜

Always double tie!
@@larryallen5760 or tie them tightly 😉
maybe change ur angle i can’t see shit
We were videoing from a perspective that helped Steven see how he plays. Also, the courts are very tight and hard to get another angle which wouldn't affect the play of others on the neighboring court. Will try to offer different angles in the future. Thank you for the feedback
It is Pickleball and it’s fun and any people can do it even if they are athletic or not
Yes. Very fun! Thank you
This is pickleball? It's just tennis for people who cant be as athletic or dont want to be as athletic
@@epochgames3049 nay my friend. I come from competitive badminton and racquetball, and pickleball can compete in the energy required to complete a full game. I've played tennis, and at the rec-level, I find pickleball more demanding when players are equal in skill. Give it a try, have fun and report back after you give it a fair shot. Cheers!
Wow Nancy!!!!!!!

As someone who is new to PB I am glad someone else said this. I have been playing for a little over a month now and was beaten by other players to the point I didn’t score a point in five straight games. I was lucky to have other players around tell me not to be discouraged and keep at it. I could tell that the opponents I had wanted to get those games over with as soon as possible instead of being patient and having fun.
I got to the point where people said they didn't want to play with me. What playing down for me is I get the opportunity to practice patience and specific shots. It was hard to learn that in Rec Play it isn't about winning, it's about having fun. But when you're in your first year of playing, you just play by reaction. Now I try and train the brain to slow things down, play smart shots, see the court, and enjoy the moment with the people you have on the court with you.
During the editing I wish you could keep the running score in one of the upper corners.
I am still learning the tools that RUclips has, and haven't come across something that allows me to do that. I'm still learning this video stuff, and when I find out how to show the scores in a good way, I will do so. Thank you for the feedback.
At just about 5 minutes I call an out serve. Im amazed how in it is. Shiws the importance of partners helping to call the lines. I owe Larry an apology
Rally starting at 10:02, nice between the legs move. Too bad you missed the drop
Get some, muss some. Thank you for watching my videos
As a fellow bird user, we need to spread the good word!!
Doing what we can. It is fun and different. And I was a Saturn guy back in the day. Cheers
Nice Job!
We keep trying
I might be behaving similarly knowing the 'tape' was running. My question are the steel railing beside the courts. Seldom but possible to hurt yourself when in the 'Chasing mode'?! 🤕
I've run into them a couple times without injury. Not as fun as running into a net or chain fence. The courts are on a converted men's prison site which is why the metal caging. I would imagine the serious injury would occur during a chase and flipping over, but haven't seen that yet.
@@PickleballGo4it Thanks for letting me know. Certainly being barred from practicing has a new ringtone now.😥
Old and young same bad knee
Yes, the knees take a beating. I recommend to all, wear a knee brace whether you need it or not. I spent most of the last year (my first year playing) with alternating bad knee stuff. For last month I am finally feeling over it. But keeping the brace on.
3.5 play
3.5 is a very fun place to be. Somewhat competitive for almost all levels of play, and not overly so when playing lower skill levels. I think 3.25-3.75 is the sweet spot for good, fun Rec Play. Thank you for watching the videos.
5:27 is an uncalled kitchen violation. Just sayin!
yea. he's still trying to figure out the game so we aren't too particular about things with him ... yet :) Thanks for watching the videos and hope you enjoy them.
It’s Mike from the other day at Steed. Great to watch us playing! Thanks for posting. The reason I pointed it out is for a learning lesson! I must say the “Mike goes off” short made me smile! Thanks KC
@@mikec4737 watching the video, you play with some crazy moves. Nice to meet you and hope to see you soon

I did not. I’ll go look!!
KC, this is hilarious to watch. thanks for putting it up.
Glad you enjoyed it
Ya I’m ok but it’s our serve
😉
Overall a fun game to watch. Laura needs a few things to clean up (to work on I should say).
Thank you. She is continually working on things. However, she isn't playing enough for muscle memory to kick in, so it's think shot - attempt shot. We do a little coaching pre & post game, things to work on. I appreciate your watching and giving feedback.
Some of those high second shots come back to bite you.
almost always :)
