So do i still need to add the file in the context for composer to know what I'm talking about, the chat needs to click apply and save each file but composer can apply the whole changes to the edited files with one click and i guess you dont need to click the save after applying

as a beginner im trying to follow this so i can use 01 pro for coding, I understand cursor and that you built some custom tools to use but what is the platform you are using showing the "repo prompt"? that doesnt look like chat gpt to me? you didnt explain that at first what platform is that?

I understand making videos you probably focusing on many different things,... but just so you know, that line 'user server' that you had to delete in cursor, ... its inserted by o1 pro because you have it in your .cursorrules file :). Go through your cursor rules, and remove the 'use server' from the .ts section, and you won't need cursor to help you at the end... the one shot will just work. Nice video, thanks for the ideas.

What is this XML tag <ai_context>? You updated the prompt just recently? Is that tag generated by the next.js app or the Repo prompt?

When i click apply it says that it applied the changes successfully, however git status shows that nothing's changed in the target project. I made sure that the path is correct. Any leads?

This workflow is absolutely incredible, and honestly, I’m not easily impressed when it comes to this kind of thing-I’ve been using AI extensively for years at this point. Last night, I got o1 pro mode to help improve my development process for the web apps and native macOS utilities I’m working on, and I’ve been blown away by the consistency and quality of the code changes and improvements it generates. It’s especially impressive when reasoning over a large codebase. The only limiting factor-though not a problem with o1 Pro itself-has been the time it takes to organize and prepare my queries for it to process. But once that’s done, I just hit send, wait, and the resulting code is almost always exactly what I wanted or fixes the issues perfectly, nearly 100% of the time. Now, with this workflow-the macOS app for organizing project files and instantly copying everything, along with the project structure; the tool that takes o1 Pro’s XML-tagged responses, auto-pushes them to Git, and lets me see the changes side-by-side instantly (and even click through)-this is a game-changer. I’ll be saving countless hours every day I work on these projects. I can’t thank you enough. I’m truly grateful, and you’ve definitely earned a subscriber (which is something I rarely bother to do).

Too bad the apps are still for Mac OS and flowvoice only for Silicon. May have to wait months for the apps to be out.

nice work. To close your iteration loop do you just save the your ide folder, delete your repo prompt original folder and load your updated folder? then start the process again.

I wish there was a different word for making websites than "coding". It's usually trivial and LLMs can handle it quite well but as soon as you try to write something more complex LLMs spit out useless crap. After reading the title, I was hoping for something new, but I see it's again a simple webdev coding. Boring.

What's fascinating is how your workflow is so vastly different from mine, it's amazing to see in how many different ways AI can be used for coding. The main question I have though is why you are going through ChatGPT instead of through the API directly. My best guess is that it's to cut down on costs? Major bottleneck though.

This "RepoPrompt" thing looks pretty cool. It's basically like Aider, except far less productive, and built for five year olds who are too scared to interact with the terminal, and prefer to point and click like a chimpanzee. Good call!

I am working on a research project involving developing a framework that implements vision-aided autonomous robotic navigation under uncertainty, running this it on real robot and simulator. The context for it would include the codebase, published articles that with msthematical formulations of the algorithms, wikis of mathematical libraries used as a backbone and instructions from the researchers. I'm using chatgpt daily for coding but want to encorporate it deeper into our workflow to save development type. Any suggestions on additional resources that I can use? Do you think $20 o1 model can still handle this?
