Come along with me as I check on our crops this morning and the birds keep singing as usual || Maize
Maize grows best on deep, well-drained, fertile soils, and where total seasonal rainfall exceeds 500 mm. Maize is reasonably tolerant to soil acidity, but if the soil is very acid, liming will improve the soil and enhance maize yields. Maize is susceptible to both drought and water- logging.

Very interesting tips! I will try to remember that 👊🏻🌶👊🏻
How long will the seeds take to germinate?
It all depends on the kind of seed and quality you got. But on average pepper seeds will 7 to 14 days to germinate and 45 days to be fully ready for transplant

Nice From Bangladesh 🇧🇩.
Your questinior is a bit lucking. Ask the person how big the place is, how much they invested, the cost of the pesticides used, how much quantity they harvest and how much they earn. So that we can be encouraged. I have watched all the videos but still cant get what im looking for. But thanks for the rest of the work you have shown
Thank you for watching and for your feedback. If you want answers from peppers farmers to the questions stated above. I hosted one of the pepper lead farmers in Uganda in Growing peppers in Uganda season one and Season Two. You'll get answers to all your pepper questions above in those two seasons. Stay blessed

The peppers are growing very well.I support my peppers, tomatoes, eggplant and some other plants with stakes with clips which is very inexpensive. Sometimes I even use a trellis net. Your mother is doing very well with her garden.
Thank you Ben. And thank you for sharing ❣️

The Lord has blessed your mother with a wonderful pepper garden. I live in the United States, here a lot of gardeners and farmers use pesticides.I have never used pesticides in over thirty years of gardening. My main problem with peppers sometimes Is scalding from the sun.I also save all grass and weeds for my compost pile.Thank you for this video.
Thank You Ben . Wow.. organic is the way to go.. I'd like to know the methods you use to keep pests, insects and fungus out of your garden.. Thanks again for sharing ❣️
@homelandtastes Thank you I have learned over the years that when you grow organically over time you will not have as severe a problem with insect and pest as those who grow conventional. I would like to also add that growing herbs like chamomile protect other plants, chamomile can actually help protect other plants from other disease problems. I use German Chamomile which is an annual but it reseeding itself every year and it is very invasive in a good way that makes your soil very healthy. I would like to also add there are other plants that are beneficial to your garden. Another problem with pesticides is that they kill bees, other pollinators, lady bugs and so many other beneficial insect that help our plants. Organic produce is at
I did not mean to send my comment yet.I was trying to say that organic produce is very healthy, pesticides have a form of poison in them that are not good for our health. Some people use organic sprays. Many make their own organic sprays. A problem as simple as aphids can be controlled by spraying them with water. Your videos are very educational an I have learned a lot from them. Would you please consider in the future of how to help local growers to not use pesticides. I think you may have covered this topic in the past. I would like to thank you for your information that is very helpful to your viewers.
This is very interesting.. because my mum was telling me.. she wants to know how to attract more bees... because the bees have reduced over time.. it could be because of the pesticides too
I'm helping another group of new farmers... we will try to practice it out.. they will be growing hot-pepper for export
