Plenty of other manufacturers with WW1 style planes. Jets are not a niche market any longer, they are more popular than ever. Especially ones in this size with all the new FAA regulations.

I'd much rather have a modern rc jet. Warbirds have been overdone for a long time now..

@@jakeclauson9863 Everyone is different but who has done WW 1 models outside of Micro Aces ? Theirs are good but far to delicate . we need smaller WW1 style aircraft, many can not fly jets in most areas . They are faster and need more space in most cases and inexperience tends to cause issues with jets but again to each their own

Jets are nice but most do not have the area to fly in for jets as they are faster and need more space in most cases . far to many inexperienced people like the cool Jet and speed but find out quickly it is not so easy to handle and result in damage or loss and for some their one and only attempt at the hobby ( the same was said of war Birds over the years ) but many refused to listen then WW1 Bi planes on the other hand can be flown fast and or especially slow for all levels of experience and with the regs/rules we need them more now then ever .

@@FlyingBuzzard really? Sopwith camel done by everyone at some point as well as Curtis Jenny, a few fokkers.. more than i can name.. many ww1 planes have been done over and over. If you want ww1 planes go to Manzono laser works. Many of the 50mm and 64mm keys can be flown in tight areas. Especially the habus

This aircraft is already very stable and does not require a GYRO receiver

The 3.7v version can be modified to 7.4v, just remove the original motor carefully and install a new one (you can untie the stickers on the bottom of the aircraft and open holes on the white foam board, which can be restored without damage). In addition, the 7.4v motor requires an external 7.4v ESC.

@@andybladen9284 Thanks! The new ESC can be connected to the original receiver. Just need to remove the P1 solder point on the back of the receiver.

These defenitly need one!!! :) open vehicles look weird driving without drivers. :p

It is a 1/12 scale teenage kart, so a smaller 1/12 driver model is required.

It's not pleasant. I can promise you that. It's their same 30mm edf just 2s. So I would say louder than, and more high-pitched than the others

Yes, I agree! We don't need to listen to the background music in your video. We'd rather like to hear the motor noise.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will take this into consideration when making future videos. In addition, earlier this week we released a video of a test flight of a Bae Hawk equipped with a 7.4vEDF. The video retains the original sound without BGM.

@minimumrc7986 no matter what you do, someone is going to complain about anything. Is the Savanah jet up for pre order or will they be shipping as normal? Very much looking forward to getting mine in the air.

The flight time for 1S and 2S is similar, both 3-5 minutes.

We have not yet tested its maximum speed, but if conditions permit, we will produce a video of the test. But it can be certain that its maximum speed is quite satisfactory.

I couldn't stop myself. Ordered it before I could even consider. Iv been wanting a micro sport edf for a while now. Was hoping horizon would have already made a umx viper but this looks like a great alternative. 2s 30mm edf with a rudder! How can you say no? Most 50mm edfs don't even have a rudder

Thanks! It includes a 7.4v 8620 brushed motor (the same size as the 3.7v version), a 12A brushed ESC, and a 7.4v 180mAh Lipo battery.

Currently, we have no plans to use brushless motors. The coreless motor has two benefits. Firstly, this type of motor and the ESC it uses are significantly affordable compared to brushless motors, and the coreless motor has almost the same power density (the power that can be provided per unit weight) as brushless motors of the same specification. In other words, its performance is almost the same as that of brushless motors.

@@minimumrc7986 what is the average lifespan of a coreless compared to brushless? long term users might find it more expensive

@@minimumrc7986 Agree on the great power-to-weight of brushed coreless motors as compared to similar brushless setups. But brushed motors suffer from performance degradation as it wears out due to repeated flights; brushless motor don't. When that happens, we cannot easily replace the worn out brushed motors because the plane is glued together. That means we have to spend time and money to build an entire plane just to replace the worn out brushed motor! 有刷电机的寿命有限，飞行多次后会失去暴力，需更换。但是机身不支持更换电机，如果需换电机恢复性能，只好买台新的，花钱费时地重新装置一台新的飞机。
