    I had been so impressed to listen to these services. But today’s message made me sad. Pastors fixation on persons attending shut holy in the midst of a pandemic is disheartening. Also, the Holy Spirit is fully capable of convicting one of sin in their lives. Pastors comments weren’t scriptural. Instead encouragement to be safe and get vaccinated should have been mentioned to combat fear and promote health and safety of the flock. I am no longer interested in listening to condemnation for being intelligent. A gift from God.

      Thank you for your comment! We just wanted to reply so you fully understand what Pastor Bryan was saying. Pastor Bryan was not fixated on persons attending, he was only telling the flock what scripture mandates. Hebrews 10:25 NLT says "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near." There are many people who have been vaccinated that have not come back to church because they got out of the routine of going to church. Pastor Bryan is making the appeal to those who are simply not coming back because they don't see going to church and being surrounded by the body of believers as a priority. Additionally, Pastor Bryan did not say the Holy Spirit is not capable of convicting people who watch online, he simply said when a person is in isolation and not surrounded by other believers they can be watching the service and be sinning at the same time. Pastor Bryan was talking about accountability and having brothers and sisters in Christ around you to help you not engage in sin. There was no condemnation from Pastor Bryan. He was simply using a scriptural mandate to encourage the sheep to come back to the flock.     I really love this church so far. I can’t wait to attend! I will attend when Montcalm county is vaccinated at 70%, right now only 34% is vaccinated. Overall the vaccination percentage of Michigan is only 46%. Every where I’ve been I have seen no masks in Greenville. So the risk is high for a variant to spread here. I am a nurse, who has worked closely with COVID 19 and seen the cruel disease up close. 6 of the nurses associations have condemned the lifting of the mandate for masking to be lifted until the percentage is 70% or higher. So if so many aren’t vaccinated and aren’t wearing a mask it’s just plain dangerous. I believe God is strong and he can protect us, but he also gave us intelligence and knowledge.

    What a lovely service! I was a class mate of Nels and remember him from band as a trumpet player, and those Friday night lights in the marching band, but I never knew of all of his musical and singing talents, he was amazing. I can truly see how he was a breath of fresh air to your family. Prayers to your family as you heal the loss of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly Firmness his Invasions on the Rights of the People.
