S.i.p Dr King 👑
Happy Birthday Martin Luther King

Yoki played Rosa Parks.
Rest-in-Power Art Evans

I never got tired of watching this over the years..
🎉
Martin Luther King Jr
It is so sad the way white people have treating us black people like animals 😘🌻
4:27:52 - though brief, don't understand why it was necessary to show this autopsy scene.
My first-generation black African descendant's family's members lives and born and raised in the deep south with the Jim Crow laws that Esau the devil's and his nations of group of people's always terrorizing Jacob 12 sons and daughter in the holy bible book from generations 24/7!. God's wants Jacob 12 sons and daughter to separate from Esau the devil's and his nations of groups of people's and this world will be a better place again it will be peaceful again and Jacob 12 sons and daughter will get back all the top-of-the-line black African descendant's wall street business again was destroy by Esau the devil's and his nations of group of people's for what they did to Tulsa Oklahoma in 1921!. I believe in separation 24/7!.
When you realize the civil rights movement was on cap and black people were better off on our own. We didn’t need white people approval. MLK was CIA, GOV controlled and truly damaged the black people and communities we built.
2:12:10 the woman who played as the crying mourner is the late Jeri Gray known for her role as Ms. Geri from tv sitcom Martin.
The movie and the man that changed my life
That little girl screaming don't tell me was the same words I screamed with my mom told me my father died. I was her age.
I saw this when I was a child. It touch my heart! All great actors in this and all gone now.
😢
Rest in peace martin Luther King rest in peace coretta Scott King
❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙋🙋🙋🙋😜😜😜😜😜😝😝😝😝🥰🥰🥰
Over the years, I've compared every depiction of of MLK to this miniseries, and this one will always stand out in my mind. Seeing this as an adult now, I didn't realize how many of our stars and legends were attached to this. Seeing the scene with Martin and Malcolm, I can't unsee dude as Pretty Tony from the Mack tho. 😁
This TV miniseries is from 1978.
Incredibly interesting dynamics within the government and people in power. RFK and Hoover were enemies and bizarrely fought and did strange things to each other; amazing how people can be in power and have high rank authority but still have to war against other people with different power - all supposedly under the same government?! It wasn't even Hoover who took him and his brother out, the other powers did! Our government is at war with itself more than any other... GOD help his good side in the name of JESUS CHRIST!
No matter how many many times I see the story about DR Martin Luther King Jr, I love it! I wish I could of seen him speaking, or preaching, but I was Born in the 70's, and he was killed a little B4 I was born! I'm planning to visit his monument in Washington DC, I would love to see the church he pastored for a short time in Atlanta!
❤ this movie.
One of the greatest movies ever
Watching this on MLK Day with my kids is amazing
Im hearing about a Magic Bible (or which ever one he had on him) that could KILL BACK. So don't fall for that non violent ROOTS, Ronald Reagan wouldn't give up on that bulls$hit until he was shot.
This is my First time Watch this Movie. RIP Dr. Martin Luther King Jr he Would have Been 94Yrs Old if he was Living.
He died for a different and it has gotten worse.
Thank you for uploading! I used to watch this every year on BET when I was younger. It is such a disservice that they don’t have this on any streaming services
At least it is on RUclips
I'm about to enter an interracial relationship soon u have more interracial relationships than ever before these days I just hope and pray that I don't encounter any racism This is such a huge step for me but I'm wiiling to go through the fire with this young lady
Lord have mercy I'm looking at the footage of the dog attacking the kids so sad It's sad all over again Discrimination and prejudice just run amuck
History repeating itself minus the water hoses and the dogs
The music was very intense especially at the opening the kettle drum was very disturbing and loud
I love this miniseries I was 12 years old when it first came out I enjoyed every minute of it Such a masterpiece A classic!
Before he died he requested that Take My Hand Precious Lord would be sung at his funeral I think Mahalia Jackson sung at his funeral
It's crazy man back in the days it was most whites killing blacks Fast foward six decades now it's young black males killing each other in most places My my my have things changed
This was the best version of MLK's life
For the past three years I watch' King' on You Tube
I remember Dr Martin Luther King he did a lot for us because of him we can go everywhere he stop the boycott and we can ride the bus and we can get on bus 🚌 in the front door not in the back door and our kids can go to same school 🏫 and we can eat in the same restaurant and there is no water 💦 fountains saying colors and white thank you Dr King 👑 you are my Hero we did to mountain 🏔 top free at last thank God oh mighty we are free at last Happy Birthday 🎈🎁🎉🎂🎊 Dr King 🍨 May You Rest In Peace your Job is done Joyanna and he got got stabbed it a little girl 👧 she was white she wrote him a letter and said I’m glad that you didn’t sneeze and you know something Paul winfield looks 👀just like Martin Luther King for real see all the stuff that Dr King 👑 went through he didn’t give up they punch him in the face and spit on him that wasn’t right and remember all the water 💦 hoeing turned on us that wasn’t right and the dogs 🐕 and thank god today that the Childrens all over the don’t has to live this no more I am 63 years old and remember everything as I’m watching this I am asking myself why did he had to die for no reason because he didn’t believe in violence and that was Dr Martin Luther Kings see this is what I’m talking about freedom it the it’s the word freedom of speech the white people didn’t care but Martin Luther King did and that’s why we was singing we will over came some day I am remember that about the three little girls 🧒🏾 who lost they life in the church when they was walking down stairs and they put a bomd in the church and those little girls lost they life for nothing yes why they had to lose they for life’s for nothing they do nothing wrong they just wanted to go church and look 👀 what happened and they took they life and they took Dr King for no reason John F Kennedy was kill on April on the 3th 1963 that sadly days of our life
Rest in peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️ martin Luther King jr
I first saw this movie in 2005. Not sure why, but I had to see it again. The struggle for Dr. King, the struggle for civil rights, and his commitment to nonviolent protests. Something we all should take a look at in this day and time.
