Took me awhile to find this. Posted by the woman who wrote and arranged this extraordinary piece. Thank you. A touch of CS Lewis, I think, in "and sent a star to keep a stable warm". From the outside, the best of Christianity.

Forr me, one of the greatest moments of the entire coronation of HM. When I heard the song in London, where the atmosphere was great that day, I was completely moved by the song. I thought this entire performance, the arrangement, the emotional core and the composition itself was utterly arresting and moving. I felt uplifted for the whole day and still do. I play this again and again using a high quality connection through my hi fi system. The music flows beautifully, no small thanks to the wonderful conductor holding the soloist and orchestra together from two opposite directions. If this music isn't magic, what is?

I stumbled upon this while looking for a hymn (Descend, O Flame of Sacred Fire). I decided to watch because of the title and for the fact that I only caught highlights of the King's coronation. I was almost transfixed by this fellow Black woman's powerful voice, stunning outfit, and beautiful appearance. Then I saw that the song was composed by a woman, too, and thought "what a long way we've come" -- and I'm not even British! But it's when I saw the rapturous look of admiration, appreciation, and joy on the conductor's face as Pretty Yende sang "And fill my soul" that I felt a tear drop. A glorious moment in a glorious performance that I'll be watching on repeat, thanks to Sarah Class, Pretty Yende, the orchestra, the organisers, the production team, and RUclips! What a gift!!! 💝❤💝
