This is a very interesting panel. However the camera does not put focus on the slides so we mostly see the presenter. Is there a particular reason for this? If not, I believe it would be very beneficial to the presentation and for the audience to have the supporting visuals in addition to the voice for the next events. Thank you

This is true. Tourism can destory beautiful sites the same way as forced mass migration, diversity and multiculturalism obliterate unique cultures. Imagine Japan adopting the open borders of the West-their culture would dissolve rapidly! One could go so far to say a culture can bounce back from nuclear war but never from multiculturalism. Once multiculturalism invades and takes root as dogma it changes the endemic culture forever. It is sad to watch.

I was expecting the answer of the first question about sustainable tourism as a niche makes money or not to be yes. As we continue to improve on tourism products and services at various tourism destinations, we continue to entices visitors and increase their loyalty to the destinations. As tourists loyalty increases they continue to visit because of continuous improvement, more money will be made.

Excellent webinar. I agree that building competence is fundamental to the success of sustainable tourism especially at the destination level.

Criterion A8, Accessibility for All, is totally in conflict with the maintenance of the wilderness integrity of some areas, such as national parks, biosphere, wilderness and World Heritage areas. One answer could be to reverse prevailing thought that implies that people/demand drives sustainability and think first in terms of environmental/ecological sustainability as having priority over all other criteria.
