Thanks! No I've not looked yet. I know there's better ones available but they will cost more. I think putting them into some type of transparent conduite would be best since that'll keep the lights from exposure to water.

You are right, I should accept there would be nothing to show. A small section quit changing colors and then an entire section stopped working altogether. I had to pull all the lights off at the end of the pool season. They were cool while they lasted but if I ever decide to do this again I'm going to go with more expensive aRGB lights. The ones I used in this video were just too low quality and don't handle the elements and water well enough to last long

Thanks! They looked great and were inexpensive but they only lasted about a month before they started to go bad. Maybe you'll have better luck but this looks like a case of getting that you paid for. Lol

I would rather use MakeMKV and Handbrake. You'll get far superior results.

Yeah I feel your pain. These went bad a month after I made this video. One small section stopped working with the correct light scheme and then later an entire section went bad. It was cool why they lasted. I would like to look into the aRGB ones but I'm not sure they will be any better quality.

@@PlexNTech The reason it first starts by not showing the right color is because the LEDs share a common conductor among their color. So if the conductor for the blues in a section fail, the controller sends a RGB value but the B’s aren’t there so everything essentially becomes (R, G, 0). Eventually all 3 burn out and the section is dead. I’m gonna try some diffuser track and see if that helps with an extra level of moisture protection.

It's very safe because it's very low voltage and watts. It runs off of DC power.

You could literally drop a toaster in a pool and won’t feel it because of the volume. This is nothing.

You can easily install Windows 11 on this computer if you follow the numerous online guides. This is a BUDGET build. Show me a sub $200 build that can perform this well that officially supports Windows 11. No need to get all pissy. This is just fine for a kid to play eSports titles for a few years. Good grief.

This is a very old video. I think it was the first video on my channel. Look at my recent videos and you'll see that none of this is an issue now. I have a 16k RC RUclips channel with years of experience but I never had to use my computer for audio and screen record on that channel so this was new to me. Normally I would be annoyed with a comment like yours but I actually agree with you on this one lol. The intro is so bad. I use professional intros from Videobolt now.

i put a rx550 in a 3050 sff for my nephew and i added a case fan to the front. The motherboard had a spot for a header for a case fan so i soldered in some pins and it worked! It has an i5 7500 in it.

I deleted my original reply to you because I misread what you were trying to say. Yes, the aRGB LEDs are better and I may try those next year. I don't expect these to last too long. The aRGB are not as cheap though. I need 90ft which will cost over $100.

that's really really strange. It is connected to the internet? I wonder if it is somehow not looking at the correct databases. I think there's a way to check that in the settings.

@@PlexNTech Yeah it is, I even changed to the movie database instead of Plex tv and movies and it didn't help much, it only messed up some of my shows' metadata

@@danielmelendez1192 lol I have an 800 g4 with i7 8700 and an a2000 I looked up 4060 but it would bottle neck, I was gonna use sata adaptor because I think it doesn't need that much morempower so would be fine. I haven't seen anyone throw into sff yet.

@@SupremeODMG nice, i wish i could find a good deal on a quadro. initially i was going to get the A2000 but the price of a used one is so close to a 4060 new. Being a dual slot card im switching to a flex PSU to make it fit.. I’d be happier with either vs the RX6400 i have now.

I'm sorry dude, I'm really not trying to be an asshole but this build was way underpowered. You wen't for a small form factor for absolutely no reason. The mt would allow you to use such better Cards and the 7040 MT goes for $50 quite often, sometimes around 70 with an i7 6700 and an SSD. I just got a kit of DDR4 2x8GB for 10$ You can get a used PSU w/the adapter for an optiplex for $25 total. PSU's can be found for 10$ on mercari (w/shipping and an adapter for 25) and its not like the dell psu was new either so you you are replacing a used psu with a better used psu. RX 580's (8GB) are $50 all day. PC w/i5 -50 (PC w/i7 - $70) (possibly with 16GB RAM too) 16GB DDR4 - $15 PSU w/adapter - $25 GPU $50 Total $140 w/i5 - $170 with i7 GTX 1660 supers can often be found for UNDER $100. I got mine for 68, just take your time and bitd or find one on mercari for even cheaper if you just take your time and find a good deal. I build PC's for a living my friend, and sell LOADS of this exact PC. lol.
