Ktm 125 two smoker crank bearing removal
If you dont care about your things it wont last. My corsa 2010 has no issue in this case. I put some anti corrosion protection colour on it and theres no problem. After 8 years. That part is the main problem with that car and its an easy fix. Your garage or your safety organisation should tell u that. If you do your maintenance, its easy like oil change. Its sad people buy cheap and forget about it. Every brand model has its issues. The Corsa D is so old, I wonder people dont do something against it.
Get the tapping stick side to side tapping
Hello dude, cheers for video étc, I’m in the middle of doing mine now, BUT I can’t get the crankshaft pulley off, I’ve undone the and removed the 4 bolts but it stuck, any tips? Cheers curt 👍😃
@curtislovering3522 very sorry bud didn't see this till now hope u have done it
Good video and thank you for posting. I'm doing them on a 08 Sentra and just looking at how to install and the way the mounts are maid it seems that they would work better and last longer if they were put upside down and pressed in from the bottom. that way the subframe would rely more on the bushing then the volcanized rubber to metal. wondering your thoughts on this.

How much does it cost for this repair
Fair play bro
Some1 tell this guy to stop deceiving the fact that, it is electronic handbrake does not mean you need a computer.. I have changed mine so many times and I have never use a computer it is electronic.. make it easy stop acting like it is a must you don’t need a computer to do this guys
Hi mate it is possible to do without ur not wrong but to calibrate it u do need the computer 😉 the calibration is for fresh pads it uses the current draw to calibrate it if u don't use the computer and u have pads that's maybe slightly thicker than dealer pads they may bind on if u understand this then cool 😎 I do appreciate commenting ur opinion but can u explain why the computer has a calibrate option if u don't Need a computer
Cool
Car failed test. Said that the bushing was not lined up properly.. my mechanic said there fine.. now I hv re rest again .. I dont know what to do 😢
Not quite sure why it would fail the test on not lined up because the lump on the top of the bushing sits flush in a hole If that's not in hole seated properly I'd say also it could be dangerous if it should nock itself seated the bolt may come loose causing issues %100 hope u get it sorted Check they're seated fully into subframe and lump on top seated in car body good luck 👍
Danke
Great video👍 how would you go about getting a locking wheel nut off that doesn’t wona undo please 🤔
Mig weld another nut onto it then loosen the nut.
Go dealer get key 40 pound ❤
How much is a cambelt and water pump for a 2011 audi A3 2.0 Tdi Fitted ?
Hi mate sorry lost my access to my RUclips till not.long ago only just seen this comment
What would happen if I accidentally fully extended the piston? It now won't go back in at all. Is it bust?
they are not simple to reassemble advised get a new one be my advise because returning the piston back into the housing the seal most likely pinch
omg if it works you are a genious thx!
it was a temp fix disconnecting it there will be an underlying issue still somewhere
@@mobilemechanics2309 did you find out what it was?
@@silince6308 no sorry haven't had the opportunity to to date
Exact same issue here - Will love to know the fix for it
how much does a job like that cost including labor ?
Nice one. What grease do you use on the sliders? Multi purpose grease? Silicone grease? It didn't look like copper slip on the sliders
normal grease on the sliders mate multi purpose copper slip tends to make sliders seize up from previous brakes ive replaced the copper slip is abrasive so not advised to use on sliders mate
@@mobilemechanics2309 thank you
If the belt breaks, do the valves break too?
they dont break they bend or break rockers however if the small belt breaks then bent valves is most likely
Wonderful, if possible could you kindly share how to bleed the clutch. My clutch pedal is stuck flat on the floor. This happened after changing the clutch. Thank you
was the pedal on the floor before u changed the clutch ?if so maybe need a master aswell if not then press pedal down release nipple then retighten then raise pedal make sure fluid is sufficient to top of reservoir repeat process till pedal is ok better to do with two ppl communicating on what position pedal and nipple is sorry bout late reply guessing u have already done it i dont come on here much once a month roughly im going to try get logged in on my phone to get a faster response to everyone thanks for watching please like and subscribe
Hi nice video .. i have questions i got vauxhall insignia estate diesel 2011 to change only the front brake pads i need computer to setup thank you..
no computer needed remove reservoir cap to allow fluid return into reservoir thanks pls like and subscribe
Good hack 👍
thanks romy please like and subscribe for more cheers
Good video but like others said no need for scan tool as the handbrake is controlled by park brake module but calipers are mechanically actuated. Did mine yesterday just disengaged handbrake switch
the calibration is required for a professional service the pads are not all same thickness so different calibration is required yes it can be done but why is the calibration option there if its not needed the main dealers spend millions testing and calibrating new parts with new parameters the resistance when pads are grabbed changes if its using its last pads setting resistance grab may be too high and cause future issues such as caliper being overtightened or maybe not tight enough just saying like but yer everyones opinion matters thanks please like and subscribe cheers
Great video guys, so can you just drop the back of the front subframe down enough to get the rear bushings out, without taking the subframe out?
Thanks for ur comment and Yer just make sure u have a support below for obvious reasons 😉 safety first
Does this stop after a while. My ibiza start normal with no judder. When the engine is cold en i start to drive sometimes the rpm falls a bit down but goes up right after it this happens 3a4 times straight in a row and then its over and the car drives normal
Hi mate, what's the tork of the wheels
150nm
GREAT USEFULL TIPS THANKS
Lightest Transit i have ever seen, good loading angle and a revolutionary light bar design, great work.
THanks John appreciate the comment. I like to make things
Yes owned a few only to sell.dont like them the bottom arms again really cheap on ebay my boys corsa put 2 on it when subframe was done they came in a kit with droplinks £50 not expensive but wont last.now i just try not to get corsa d anymore
they are what they are cheap and cheerfull till the wishbone breaks and u crash anyone owns one best to get them checked and changed if required just for the sake of peace of mind
Maybe cheap parts but also crap parts. I have a lowered car and no problems. Maybe avoiding potholes would be recommended.
@@mobilemechanics2309The problem is theres nearly no protection at that part. I painted the parts wich get thrown by stone only once and it was enough to protect it. I spray oil and wax at the point where you filmed the corroded part, because I cant paint it within. My garage was surprised they usually change it after 10 years more or less. He said it will last forever😂.
£95 on ebay new not a bad job.better change the bolts inverted torques if i recall had a 58 low on miles gave it to my son mot months later subframe rotten
some r really bad ive seen a few worse than this one anyone attemting to replace one i advise u wax oil it all in all cavitys before fitting
Who owns that wicked Honda 😂
That wicked Honda now belongs to co part lol
Absolutely smashed it bro 💪🙌👌👏💯
Thanks mate
Can you put handbrake in service mode without a obd?
Yes hold the button down until you see it come up on the dash
Yes u can do this without computer however u cannot calibrate fresh pads without it they may bind on if thicker pads as my comment to yesrudeboy at the top I explain the calibration
Is it difficult to remove it thanks
If you have a Corsa D, Vauxhalls will remove and put on a replacement part for free. So basically free part and free repair. There was a product recall on the Corsa's Sub frame.
@@andrewr4445 I've read in a few places about Vauxhall doing this for free under some sort of "special" warranty. My local dealership is notorious for playing dumb, so it would be great if there was some kind of official publication. Any ideas where I might find something of this nature?
@@ottofumbler7267 I had mine done for free. There is a lot of mention online. It's best to contact your local vauxhal dealer, give them your reg and Vin. The is a warranty on it, and that is the reason they will replace it, but usually only if it fails it's MOT.
@@ottofumbler7267 Basically after researching it, I emailed my local vauxhall dealers. 48 hours later, I heard nothing so phoned them. They said they were aware of my email and phone me back later that day. They kept their word and phoned me back. Asked for my reg and vin and told me my car was booked in, in three days time. They also pointed out other product recalls on the car and said they would do that for free. Come thursday I dropped it off at 9 and collected it at 12. Not only did they replace the sub frame, but all the nuts and bolts, ball joints, hand brake and a few other things. I had at least £1000's worth of parts and labour, for free.
@@andrewr4445 Okay. Thanks for this. Guaranteed, I'm still in for a argument with my local dealership. They've never done me a favour with any manufacturer warranty issue, and that's across the board on a range of badges. It's not an MOT failure yet, but my trusted mechanic noted it has "heavy surface rust". Fingers crossed for a decent result, but I know this won't be painless.
Hi mate great video how much should you be charged for a garage to fit a set of back break pads on a Vauxhall Mokka ? Been told with pads and fitted + vat =£97 what do you think
hi tony all garages charge different rates and supply different quality parts but for decent quality parts and good quality garage u would estimate to pay around £100- £150 hope this helps
Send him to me i charge him50.00 pounds mate
Hi where you are based plz ?
wolverhampton usman
Good video, but could do with better sound. Does the car have manual or electrical brake? Is it important to do a diagnostic after and could you explain the calibration a little better. Thanks.
manual brakes, electronic hand brake no need for a scan tool, and you dont hang the caliper by the brake hose.
ok ill ask them to float for me next time lol thanks for ur input ill bear it in mind
That's differently not how to install bushings on a subframe...man hard to watch..😂🤣
And your reason is?
real mechanic me mate engineer mode active always lol if u know u know worked spot on mate the bushes r in still in and going no where lol not nocking so jobs a good en mate it was hard to never mind watch soon as i seen the job i was like great this should be fun getting them out i didnt show lol air chisel took a while
My nissans the same now. What did you undo to lower the subframe. Did you leave the wishbones still attached pal
@@martinoreilly9099 as far as i can remember i didnt undo them no cant be sure tho
@@martinoreilly9099 Remove engine undertray and tray immediately behind bumper. Disconnect UJ at bottom of column inside car, pop the rubber column seal into the car from underneath. 6 bolts at rear of subframe, 2 at front. Subframe will hang. Highly recommend Problem Solving Bushings for these (Google them). You don't have to remove the old outer metal from the bush, just burn out what's left of the inner with a blowtorch - hold a heat shield above so you don't torch the car! PSB's will last the life of the car. Not a bad job at all.
but there was no EPB on the car you used a wined back tool
it was electronic mate trust me there was no handbrake lever to pull only a small electronic switch thanks
Hi ya mate...thanks alot for this upload...really helpful. Where are you from? You sound like ur from walsall? And what do you charge to change the rear breakes on the same model car, but 2011 insignia 2ltr CDTI... Thanks alot.....steve.
hi steve yes im wolverhampton sorry bout the super late replys im just getting back into replying on here now so if any future work dont hesitate to msg me im presuming u got it sorted by now if not please visit my website for quotes thanks www.mmsrltd.co.uk it is linked to my youtube
Any chance of a step by step guys? . I'm needing to do this on my td5, 2004 series 2 and I could use a bit about whether you had to remove the injectors, rail system, etc. Cheers from downunder😊
hi mate step by step was kind of in the video i will edit a video in near future with some wording explaining abit more sorry if it wasnt much help this time im new to this editing stuff im getting there slowly thanks again for ur responses
This literally just happened to my Octavia vrs, no coolant left and the pump seems to be making a lot of noise. Ive had it looked at 3 times in less than 2 years
It’s not an easy leak to find with all covers in the way
Nice one mate. I replaced the turbo last night and now the car has some judder on idle. Lot of old fragile wires that I could have damaged. Any idea on what the fuel temp should read normally?
Common issues are fuel pumps
Not Sure tbh customer didn't come back was happy to take like that lol so never got to the bottom of the issue but suspect a fuel pump issues causing temp issue of some sort however could been a wire fault can't be certain mate pump in tanks common would cause hot fuel in pipes
Thank you for sharing your experience.
ur welcome yann
It is part of the timing chain guides
Where's that red plastic from
that red plastic is part of the timing chain guides that was worn down and broken off and ended up blocking the oil pickup in the sump
causing the oil light and it to stall on idle as oil pressure was way to low to keep dephaser cam gears in check
The red plastic is part of the timing chain guide chain got slack tensioner failed and worn away the guide till it shattered and ended up blocking the oil pickup in the sump causing stalling on idle due to reduced oil flow to the dephaser cam gear
Oh my f@ck that is a lot of work. Thanks for the vid.
it defo isnt a five min job no lol glad it helped mate
hello i had the same problem can u please tell me how did u flush out engine to get it up and running again.
I'm just in the same way it's like thick tar
claeaned most of it out with washing up liquid and hot water and a hose to flush it all out there was loads it took AGES NEW BOTTLE WAS FITTED AND pipes were cleaned best we could with rags and screwdrivers poking them in to get the lumps of oil attached to them was one of the messiest to do
