I plan to visit Japan in December. Is your ski resort open at the early December?
Depending on the amount of snowfall, it is rare for the park to open in early December in the past few years.😥
Loved Appi but hearing that Nishimori lift closed permanently and other lifts closed mid-week now. Was looking forward to showing the place to my wife but off the list now if lift closure info is accurate😢
The discontinuation of the Nishimori lift is very unfortunate.😓

Have you gone down the Panorama Ridge course? I tried it in February and was surprised by how steep the last part was, and also how the steepness isn't mentioned. It was entertaining. Ha ha

Your moving map is very helpful to get to know the various ski fields. What month did you go skiing? I’m planing to go skiing here in mid December 2024 .I would like to ask you for some informations? Do the snow depth in the early winter season enough for beginner to learn ski.?
Here is a video from mid-February two years ago. Are you going to Hakuba? If you are going to Hakuba in mid-December, there may not be much snow. I think there is enough snow in Hokkaido even in mid-December.

great videeo😊 Is Tsugaike a busy resort in Feb? I’m planning to go there at weekends with my family and we have beginners so I was wonderding if it’s too busy or not
Weekends in February are busy. February 10,11,12 and 23,24,25 are very busy.
What about the first 2 weeks of March?
I don't think it's crowded except on weekends.
Not compared to Australia.

There is not much snow in early to mid December. In late December, there is more snow.
